Job Summary
The Senior Director of Account Management strategically implements consultative sales strategies. They support our growth with an unmatched focus on client centricity and accountability to deliver great results. They will lead, develop, and oversee the daily operations of the account management team. The team is responsible for securing new contracts, increasing client share with current accounts, and working with recruitment to generate hires. The Senior Director drives the team to achieve financial performance goals and cultivate successful client relationships. The Senior Director collaborates with internal and external partners to design account strategies. This includes the expansion of AMN service offerings, as they lead, develop, and coordinate the operations of the Account Management team to increase revenue, market share, and fill rate.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains Enterprise client relationships through direct contact to increase utilization of AMN services, assists with facility order projections, cross-sells AMN services, reviews and shares best practices across Enterprise clients, and resolves raised service calls to position AMN as a critical partner in the client's success.
- Strategizes with internal partners to evaluate projections in terms of days filled, specialty mix, and average daily rate to implement action plans that address fluctuating regional performance and exceed monthly budget quota.
- Conducts monthly/quarterly individual meetings with team members to assess production results and consultative sales approach to project quarterly performance and discuss team member obstacles and dynamics.
- Coaches and mentors managers and team members by observing and providing feedback to foster the development and success of individuals and regions.
- Reviews & approves client agreements including rate ranges, fees, and contract terms to determine the likelihood of placement, revenue potential, and legal compliance.
- Handles raised client situations on behalf of team members (e.g. contract clarification and disputes) to preserve client retention and market share.
- Facilitates effective team meetings to drive performance and success across account management and recruiting teams.
- Communicates enterprise account management information and progress-to-goals to AMN executive leadership through presentations, reports, and meetings to maintain accountability, set goals, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Work Experience
- 10+ years in client-facing role
- 10+ years in Account Management or Sales
- 4+ years in a leadership role.

Pay Rate
$101,000 - $126,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
This position may include additional compensation such as bonus or commission. Please ask your recruiter for more information.
