Our Adoptions team is responsible for the planning and execution of successful state and district level adoption submissions.
The Senior Director, Adoption Strategy will lead processes for adoption strategy and routine discounting and support in negotiations with our largest customers.
This person will collaborate with team members across Amplify to provide project/process management, data support, expertise and budget tracking. The Senior Director will report to the VP, Deal Desk.
Responsibilities of the Senior Director, Adoption Strategy:
  • Coordinate, plan, and lead all aspects of adoption strategy in partnership with the Adoptions Director as well as the Product, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Supervise product readiness with Product and Operations teams to provide curriculum for review that is aligned with state standards and other adoptions requirements.
  • Track selling readiness in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that campaigns, promotional samples, and campaigns have been planned in advance and performed in a timely manner.
  • Advise pricing in the context of state adoptions with competitor pricing and intel about state funding.
  • Contribute to market sizing based on planning in adoption states and market fit.
  • Process discount approvals in the context of adoption states, ensuring compliance with contractual and MFN requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage initial steps with state depositories after adoption, including execution of a contract if needed and upload of adopted products.

Basic Qualifications of the Senior Director, Adoption Strategy:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years experience on a sales, marketing, and/or operations team
  • Experience driving results with a cross-functional team within timeline
  • Experience analyzing financial data, reporting and clearly communicating relevant information to team members
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Director, Adoption Strategy:
  • Knowledgeable about the K-12 education field
  • Sales Force experience
