The Role: 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this new position offers the unique opportunity to have a dramatic impact on the success of Recorded Future and drive our new business growth efforts. The Senior Director, Business Development will partner closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to drive inbound and outbound pipeline generation for a fast-growing cyber security leader. This person will be responsible for hitting pipeline targets by leading the North America Business Development team and owning the global BDR strategy and reporting. 

What you'll do a the Senior Director of Business Development:

Lead the global BDR program from a strategic and metrics perspective

  • Develop and implement effective growth strategies for the sales teams, ensuring alignment with the needs of the sales organization and the inbound demand from marketing
  • Continuously improve the BDR process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training, and enablement
  • Ensure consistent delivery of onboarding, sales coaching, training and development in collaboration with Sales Enablement
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports, trends, analysis & results 
  • Provide the BDR team with the necessary tools + training, such as Salesforce.com, Zoominfo, and Outreach, to perform their job effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain a focus on the quality of opportunities while achieving a high quantity, and prioritize the impact on the sales cycle and close rates
  • Design, manage and measure incentive plans

North America BDR People Leader

  • Build and maintain a world class team
  • Define the career advancement paths for the NA BDR team
  • Lead the hiring, onboarding and management of the NA BDR team 
  • Document employee performance and conduct regular 1-1 reviews
  • Coach and develop direct report managers 
What you'll bring as the Senior Director of Business Development:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience
  • 7+ years leadership experience in managing business development teams of 20+ members (inbound and outbound)
  • Ability to serve as both a business manager and talent developer to meet established goals
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and motivate diverse and high-performing BDR teams and managers
  • Ability to influence cross-functional alignment and coordination between sales and marketing teams
  • Developed ability to think strategically and deploy tactically
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, the information security industry preferred
