The Senior Director, Business Development - Payors , opportunity will be responsible for leading a broad set of critical initiatives for ResMed SaaS, the Business Development team is responsible for supporting the corporate strategy through growth in new areas. From partnerships to new market entries, we lead the company into cutting-edge growth opportunities.
This role will hold critical responsibilities to lead growth in several key initiatives. We need a team member with a broad set of capabilities to assist our efforts in further penetrating existing and new market spaces, analyzing our opportunities to leverage our platform and data, and execute on several key strategic partnership opportunities. A successful candidate will possess vision, analytical skills, the ability to sell the vision to payors, customers, partners and internal stakeholders, and the ability to execute and manage initiatives in an ever-changing environment. As a self-starter with knowledge of this domain space, you will drive strategy and execution for this business vertical.
Let's talk about Responsibilities:
- Leading business development activities for working with payors - recruitment and management of partnerships, closely working with product management and leadership, amongst other stakeholders
- Leading key strategic initiatives for the company - new market entrance opportunities, new strategic partnerships
- Proactively managing the partnership and other relationship opportunities
- Organizing discussions with stakeholders, assessing strategic partnership candidates for identified areas of need, and moving deals forward as opportunities are identified
- Expanding interoperability leadership for how help connect payors as part of our ecosystem
- Mapping and updating ecosystem interdependencies.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience:
- BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or relevant healthcare discipline required.
- At least 10 years of experience in the healthcare technology industry
- At least 10 years of experience in any combination of the following roles: General Management, Product Management, Project Manager, Account Manager, Channel Manager, Sales or Business Development Representative, Market Manager and/or Program Manager
- At least 5 years of experience in the post-acute care and/or payor space
- Proficient computer skills, including intermediate level skill with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and performance criteria preferred
- Must be able to travel domestically up to 40% of the time to support partners, trade shows, and customer discussions
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
