Job DescriptionQSI is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Head, Business Operations to join our team. This leader will work closely with our leaders to drive key strategic initiatives and business process Implementation across the company. The selected candidate will collaborate with leaders across our company to solve problems and drive value. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Program Management, Strategy and Operations.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
- Support and/or drive implementation of key strategic initiatives for the business
- Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline business operations, supporting operations, finance and commercial
- Lead/implement business transformation initiatives critical to the success of the company
- Partner with Leaders to evaluate evolving operating models across the business, analyzing shifting needs both near and long-term (i.e. build vs. buy analysis, 3PL assessment/implementation, M&A assessment/integration, lead to cash, international operations stand up etc.)
- Assesses current and future needs of the organization with special projects/analyses, often in partnership with other departments or external consulting groups
- Support the company’s core planning processes including strategic planning, budget/forecasting, annual operating planning, and goals setting
- Partners closely with R&D, Commercial, Operations, and Finance
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Life Science required, MBA preferred
- 15+ years’ of experience in business operations, corporate planning, or strategy
- 8+ years’ experience in life sciences, medical device, and/or diagnostics industry
- Knowledge and deep domain experience in strategic and business planning, operational excellence, finance, commercial and operations management

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $200,000 - $260,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position, an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
