Senior Director, Business Operations
As the leader of the Business Operations team, you will manage the teams that deliver operational programs in support of global sales and customer success organizations. Reporting to the leader of Global Revenue Operations, you are a member of the leadership team and will actively participate in annual planning cycles.
In this highly visible role, you will be leading a globally dispersed team focused on helping drive sales and customer success activities spanning the customer lifecycle from first acquisition through renewal. Our goal as a global revenue operations organization is to improve performance by finding process inefficiencies and developing programs that can amplify sales and customer success activities. You will partner with the leadership of the different sales and customer success organizations to understand their goals and objectives and work with your peers on the Global Revenue Operations team to leverage their resources to help meet those objectives.
The Business Operations team is at the forefront of all requests and helps to define business requirements and translate them into functional requirements (policies, programs, and procedures) that inform our technical and enablement teams. Using your experience in working with revenue operations, you will help guide your leaders to define and develop not only the programs but also the metrics that measure their success.
Your success depends on understanding the desired outcomes of your global business partners in sales and customer success and ensuring that they have visibility into current programs and how we are to prioritize investments to meet their needs. You will help manage their expectations, highlight tradeoffs, and ensure that our employee and customer experience is top of mind when making decisions.
You will be leading a high-performing team and your ability to create a compelling vision that keeps them motivated while retaining and developing employees will be critical to the team's ongoing success. This is a role for someone who can see both the forest and the trees, enjoys collaborating with many different teams and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate for this role will have a deep passion for optimizing GTM motions that deliver excellent customer experiences and understands the value of enterprise architecture and aligning organizational investments.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven multi-level management experience in revenue operations with an enterprise SaaS solution provider.
- Curiosity, passion, and a willingness to dive in to get the job done quickly and with precision.
- Experience in designing and implementing sales and success programs for technology, channel, and services partners.
- Ability to manage global programs including strategy refinement, policy and process definition, enablement, and implementation.
- An analytical, data-driven mindset that uses business insights to inform and educate others on opportunities.
- Comfortable in making tough decisions based on analysis, wisdom and experience
- Possess the ability to break down siloes and leverage ideas from across the business to create more efficiency.
- Ability to demonstrate courage by challenging how things are done and take the best from the past to build something new and better for the future.
- Ability to be decisive and transparent ensuring your team understands what their top priorities are, and why.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years management experience in SaaS software.
- A world class written and verbal communicator with the ability to present at all levels.
- A proven history of being able to influence and rally diverse stakeholders using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Ability to not only dive into details to drive execution but also zoom out to contextualize specific recommendations/initiatives within the broader company strategy.
- Ability to multi-task by prioritizing work and coordinating required support across various functions to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Experience implementing and scaling initiatives across globally dispersed teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments with teams that are globally dispersed.
- You are willing and able to travel 20%, including internationally

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $194,100 and $313,940. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
