Job Overview:
APTIM is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Relations Director to grow our Resilient Solutions business. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior executives to devise and execute customer engagement strategies with a primary focus on sales. As the Business Relations Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing research methods to gain insights into customer values, needs, and opinions about our company.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with senior executives to develop and execute customer engagement strategies tailored to emergency management, sustainability, and resilience.
- Design and implement research methodologies to gain in-depth understanding of customer values, needs, and perceptions about APTIM's services.
- Analyze customer satisfaction data to identify the company's current strengths and weaknesses in customer relations.
- Leverage existing relationships and industry reputation to further the growth of APTIM's resilience focused business addressing climate cycle impacts and long-term recovery.
- Utilize data-driven insights to develop innovative strategies aimed at enhancing customer relations and driving business growth.
- Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting current customer relations status and recommending future strategies to promote business expansion.
- Lead the implementation of new customer service strategies by providing training and guidance to mid-level managers in adopting innovative customer engagement techniques.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in customer service and integrate relevant technologies into the business' customer service strategy to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technical, Engineering and Mathematics related discipline is highly desirable, while a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is also acceptable. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Previous position in Government with success in relevant areas. Relationships should be current and appropriate.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role, preferably within the emergency management or disaster services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful customer engagement strategies, with a focus on sales growth.
- Proficiency in utilizing various research methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their applications in enhancing customer service is highly desirable.
