WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Director of Capital Markets to join our team. Key responsibilities include owning the Global Foreign Exchange (FX), Capital Planning, and Investments Teams across 3 GEOS - World HQ, European HQ, and Shanghai HQ.

You'll build and drive strategy, forecasting, reporting, and overall communications for our Long Term Capital Structure and Liquidity Strategy, ~$22B Foreign Exchange Portfolio, ~$9.5B Debt Portfolio, and ~$4B Investment Portfolio.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will drive strategy for NIKE's LT Capital Structure, Global Foreign Exchange, Debt and Investment portfolios, and related risk management activities. Key responsibilities include calibration of foreign exchange and investment risk appetites, portfolio construction, development of performance benchmarks, and quarterly discussions of portfolio performance with senior leaders. You will lead all external banking relationships and drive strategy for external financing and credit facilities.

You will drive refinancing strategies for NIKE's debt portfolio and handle leverage accordingly targeting metrics aligned to maintaining strong investment-grade credit ratings. You will align investment decisions with liquidity risk management objectives, and advance strategies to mitigate interest rate risk arising from NIKE's financing and investing activities. You will coordinate and drive the forecasting of free cash flow and related working capital metrics for the enterprise. Finally, you will ensure appropriate governance and oversight of all financial risk management activities, including compliance with our internal policies. In this role, you will also:

- Advise and measure capital return programs and lead all financing activity for the enterprise

- Drive clarity on enterprise financial market risks based on business outlook

- Drive financial impact and prudent risk management through cross-functional partnerships

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the VP, Assistant Treasurer, and work closely with key cross-functional partners in Global Business Planning, Investor Relations, Global Finance Operations, Global Sourcing and Manufacturing Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Legal. You'll also leverage NIKE's external relationships with banks for market research, advisory, and to support achieving our risk management objectives.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other Strategic Financial Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Minimum of 10+ Treasury and/or FP&A experience with at a large multinational corporation

- Advanced degree preferred, such as a Masters of Business Administration, Economics, etc.

- Proven ability to effectively lead, develop, and retain a diverse and talented team

- Strong ability to lead transformation, driving through ambiguity

- Passion for capital markets and macroeconomics
