Senior Director, Corporate Events

Recorded Future is looking for an exceptional event experience leader to join the rapidly-growing Brand Experience & Strategy team. This individual will be responsible for the overall strategy, planning and execution of events that elevate and differentiate the global Recorded Future brand.Â
This individual will partner with executives and teams across Recorded Future to create unique experiences (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) for our prospects, clients, employees and influencer audiences. Events are a core element of Recorded Future’s brand growth strategy and this individual will play a key role in shaping and executing that strategy for the long-term.Â
In this role you will be expected to:
- Oversee all aspects of our corporate events strategy, including logistics, budgeting, vendor management, content and creative development, and lead across departments and teams to execute the events strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, plan, execute and measure exceptional event programming that elevates the Recorded Future brand and delivers on business outcomes.
- Lead the full life-cycle of promotion for flagship company-level events, driving interest and registrations among key audiences, launching and managing livestreams, and distributing content during and post events.
- Strategic thinker who drives consensus among parties, anticipates challenges/ roadblocks, and provides proactive recommendations for optimized experiential solutions. An ability to work with abstract ideas or situations involving multiple teams/functions, and provide strategic direction delivering on business outcomes, is essential.
- Technical know-how to ensure a seamless live, hybrid and virtual event experience is mandatory.
- Expert communicator and collaborator who works across teams and departments (Creative, Communications, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, C-suite, among many others) to break down silos and calibrate expectations with executive leadership.Â
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of event planners and staff, including career planning and coaching.Â
- Familiarity with a wide range of topics across the intelligence, cybersecurity and related fields in support of programming the most relevant and compelling value propositions for our event programming.Â
- Partner closely with creative teams to develop and maintain a system of toolkits (i.e., “events in a box”) that address the unique needs of event marketers across the organization, while also leveling-up the overall experience of our brand.Â
- Develop a compelling strategy for measurement of event effectiveness that allows all teams to understand the impact of experiential marketing.Â
What you’ll bring to the Senior Director, Corporate Events role:
- A highly-organized, forward-looking, inclusive event marketing leader with a minimum of 12 years of experience in an event planning capacity, either in-house or at an agency; experience working with cybersecurity, editorial/news, technology and/or enterprise (SaaS) companies strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience leading and developing digital and social media marketing plans that support an integrated approach event planning and deliver on key performance metrics.Â
- Collaborative and self-starting attitude; enterprising mindset and an ability to learn new tools and skills to advance the team’s impact.
- Expert vendor management skills, especially working with teams across regions, time zones and cultures.Â
- Expert communicator and professional writer with superb project management skills and attention to detail.
- Strategic mindset for triaging decision-making in high-pressure environments; demonstrated ability to move quickly and decisively and bring stakeholders at all levels along in the decision making process.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.Â
- Bachelor’s degree.
