Senior Director, Data & Metrics

Job Summary
This key leadership role will be responsible for leading the development of key business metrics, analytical datamarts, and self-service tools to support the democratization of data and metrics into ATUS's corporate and functional business areas. This role will require extensive collaboration across the Data, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning organizations; providing critical data, metrics, and support to these teams to enable a transformation of ATUS's culture into an industry-leading, data-driven organization. This leader should have the ability to be "hands-on"--leading by example where necessary-to collaboratively develop and implement analytical datamarts, tools, and metrics that serve dozens of internal use-cases. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of transforming a data, analytics, and data science organization to facilitate self-service and best-in-class capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Closely partner and collaborate across all facets of the Data Science & Analytics Organization to identify opportunities to simplify and accelerate the capabilities of the organization.
- Recruit, motivate, develop, and engage a talented team of data analysts, business intelligence professionals, and data engineers that are dedicated to developing and productionizing best-in-class capabilities.
- Partner closely with IT to develop scalable and repeatable processes to ingest new data sources and engineer and leverage "base" data tables
- Drive the roadmap for analytics and reporting tools that drive and promote a culture of self-service
- Establish a discipline measurement-fastidiously monitoring usage of existing and new data assets and tools-and leverage this information to inform the organization's strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of ATUS's key business drivers and leverage that understanding to inform the roadmap for data, metrics, and analytic tools that drives the greatest ROI.
- Simplify complex concepts to business stakeholders to promote the understanding of the value of data and to promote excitement around the discipline
- Establish a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team - and across the Data Science & Analytics organization more broadly - ensuring both quality and speed.
Qualifications
- Deep competency with developing, and leading others to develop, effective analyses, data visualization, etc. to drive decisions.
- Experience with a cloud-based environment, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
- Proven ability to collaborate with and build effective business partnerships at senior levels of the organization
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of a unified analytics function
- Growth mindset and mentally primed to take on challenges and adopt effective problem-solving strategies; encourages team to embrace growth mindsets

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $183,600.00 - $233,400.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
