Guild is hiring a Senior Director, Deal Desk. This is a leadership role reporting into our SVP of GTM Strategy Operations and Enablement. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a brand-new team while defining and leading the end-to-end Deal Desk process within Guild’s Employer Experience team. As a Senior Director, Deal Desk you will:
  • Own and lead the Deal Desk process and cadence, finding opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
  • Facilitate structuring and execution of transactions (e.g. contracts with our enterprise employer partners) while optimizing for customer experience, revenue upside, profitability and compliance
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and other cross functional teams to ensure a detailed customer experience while continually defining and strengthening internal processes
  • Evaluate deal economics, commercial terms and conditions, operational requirements and non-standard structuring requests
  • Identify and implement process improvements to shorten deal close cycles, minimize risk and improve revenue. Builds critical metrics and measures to understand deal desk impact
  • Benchmark industry-wide Deal Desk functions for maturity assessment and development roadmap
  • Define and use OKRs to develop your team and guide decision making
  • Over time, hire, develop and own an inclusive, engaged, and impactful team

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

Required Proficiencies
  • 10+ years of enterprise B2B experience in deal desk, finance, sales operations, revenue operations or equivalent roles
  • Proven track record to hire, lead and develop talent into a successful team
  • Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity and willingness to take ownership of sophisticated problems
  • Ability to work optimally alongside senior leaders, distill key concepts and influence decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an analytical mentality technically–you like to solve problems and drive efficiencies while maintaining a positive customer experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
Preferred Proficiencies
  • Experience in hyper-growth, constantly evolving environments
  • Prior background in building a Deal Desk function from the ground up
  • Experience in Salesforce preferred

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of  $180,000- $217,500, as well as company stock options.
