Job Summary
The Senior Digital Director will be a highly visible leadership role in the B2C Sales/Marketing Organization and report to the Vice President of eCommerce Sales. He or she will lead internal and external teams of direct and dotted line reports that build and optimize customer facing sales websites for fixed line and mobile products. The Sr Director will develop and implement strategies to grow sales and supervise day to day tactical operations for the websites. They will be responsible for continuing the evolution of the websites and pushing creative and technical boundaries to ensure the sites are always evolving and optimized to the fullest extent.
Responsibilities
- Manage digital initiatives relying on both internal and external resources.
- Lead and direct creative, content, UX, IT and other teams to deliver effective solutions to drive sales
- Supervise and conduct implementation of world-class customer experience.
- Optimize business processes through customer-focused digital solutions.
- Manage wireframe development for the websites
- Manage content strategy for the websites
- Identify and develop key strategic alliances both internally and externally.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to translate business requirements into business, functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and supply departmental strategic plans on an ongoing bases.
- Supervise continuous evolution of all digital properties including but not limited to suddenlink.com, optimum.com, and alticemobile.com.
- Identify and oversee implementation of 3rd party vendors and technologies to drive an effective customer experience.
- Analyze and direct customer analytics for objective decision-making.
- Evaluate and improve eCommerce platforms to enhance effective sales growth.
- Plan and develop roadmap of future eCommerce initiatives.
- Generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic
- Identify and implement AB tests to optimize the websites
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency
- Identify and implement new optimization methods to improve customer experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in digital technologies, marketing, website design or relevant field
- 10+ years related digital experience in B2C sales, marketing or ecommerce
- Proven track record in the digital space including:
- Experience leading a digital team responsible for building and maintaining websites that drive sales
- Experience working across different functions related to the digital space including ecommerce, marketing, SEM, SEO, social media, mobile development, web development, analytics, CRM and user experience
- Experience delivering effective and innovative digital strategies across the digital landscape
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and other platforms
- Experience with AB testing tools such as Optimizely, Adobe Target and Google Optimize
- Extensive experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies
- Strong and effective project management skills and the ability to lead and direct internal and external resources
- Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines
- Results oriented leader with ability to develop and communicate big-picture vision and strategy, and deliver results through practical, disciplined execution. Demonstrated success in developing strategies and roadmaps that directly led to measurable business results.
- Excellent communication skills. Strong leadership presence. Effective storyteller in evangelizing strategies and new directions.
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills. Ability to effectively influence stakeholders and gain consensus at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
- Ability to translate complex and varied inputs including digital behavioral data and analytics, market research, industry and competitive trends and develop actionable strategies

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $183,600.00 - $233,400.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
