The Head of Event Experience, is accountable for the successful planning and execution of all TransUnion events. This leader will work with colleagues across the enterprise to develop and execute compelling event experiences that demonstrate and reinforce our unique brand value and drive demand & engagement across all market segments, industries, prospects, customers & associates.
This leader will be creative with strong business acumen, and will bring deep event strategy expertise, experiential design and production knowledge to the role, inspiring teams and delivering excellence each day. This role is responsible for bringing our brand to life on stage and on screen!
What You'll Bring:
- You bring 12+ years in event programming and management, B2B, Enterprise SaaS &/or Financial Services experience preferred
- You are highly strategic, always seeing the bigger picture and remaining acutely aware of business, technology and overall event trends
- You are a bridge-builder with excellent relationship skills and the ability to influence and drive consensus with a variety of stakeholders.
- You have an ability to bring unique creative vision to life for compelling, engaging experiences. You can delegate to the right people and partners, and allocate resources to deliver effective, high quality event execution
- You have proven success in managing and mentoring a team of highly driven, successful professionals. You are thoughtful, enthusiastic, transparent and accountable.
- You demonstrate composure at all times and embrace and enjoy fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce (or any other CRM), Aventri or other registration software
- Strong financial and negotiation skills.
- This position is remote and requires up to 30% travel.
Impact You'll Make:
- Own the TransUnion's event strategy, encompassing hosted, sponsored and experiential events to drive enterprise & business unit goals and objectives globally. Operates as a senior strategist to executive stakeholders, serving as a thought partner and developing an event strategy that supports their overall business strategy.
- Design innovative & meaningful ways to evolve event experiences before, during and after virtual, hybrid and in-person event engagements. Pioneer ways to drive audience engagement, deliver dynamic content, orchestrate personalized experiences at scale, optimize event logistics, and ensure an integrated brand experience. Partner closely with the Head of Digital Experience to deliver increased impact leveraging social, email, web, digital personalization and creative.
- Expertly navigate and empower matrix partners and varied stakeholders (BU, solutions, brand) to deliver programming aligned to the strategic vision for all global TU target audiences. Uses sphere of influence and indirect management skills to align teams on best practices and industry leading recommendations to elevate our event experiences.
- Partner to create a roadmap of event experiences (in person, virtual, hybrid), including recommendations and process for resources, event mix, content production, marketing campaigns and attendee experience.
- Manage a multi-million dollar events budget, optimizing spend, building strong relationships with new & existing vendors and partners, and effectively allocating resources & dollars to deliver amazing, memorable, branded experiences. Negotiates and executes on all contracts and hotel addendums, partnering with Global Procurement and Legal, as appropriate.
- Lead a global team of direct and indirect associates with responsibility for their development, growth and capacity prioritization. Team manages all aspects of events and meetings inclusive of site visits, venue selection, negotiations, contract revisions, agendas, all logistics (including technology and A/V needs), transportation, food and beverage, accommodations, vendor management and budget reconciliation.
- Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and other experience metrics.
We offer competitive compensation packages that are based on careful consideration of the impact and scope of the position, external pay benchmarking and the candidates' knowledge skills and abilities. The salary range for this position is $156,700-$285,500
