Senior Director, Finance and Performance Management
Job Description
Position Purpose:
This position will support, manage and drive enterprise strategic initiatives with heavy focus on financial and qualitative results. This position will partner with key functional leaders and senior management to identify and execute on portfolio of initiatives including Centene Forward transformational projects and HBR market/product initiatives. In addition, this position will manage the strategic budgeting and investment prioritization process for the portfolio enterprise strategic initiatives.
In this Senior Director, Finance and Performance Management role, you will:
- Performance manage cross-functional teams to drive business strategy and issue resolution from ideation through implementation/execution
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities that could hinder or accelerate the impact or execution of initiatives and recommend solutions to improve performance
- Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting summaries prepared for Senior Management on initiative performance and status
- Monitor realization of benefits, including tracking financial and qualitative results
- Review return on investment (ROI) calculations and evaluate proposed benefit realization, including assessing confidence in value, timeline after accounting from level of risk
- Review and approve key performance indicator and financial benefit realization tracking methodology
- Manage and facilitate the strategic budgeting and investment prioritization process for the organization.
- Present strategic budgeting and investment prioritization results to senior leadership.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field or equivalent experience is required; Graduate Degree preferred.
- 7+ years of performance management or financial/analytics experience.
- Strong financial and analytical background is required.
- Managed care or health insurance industry experience is preferred.
- At least 3 years of management experience is required
