Senior Director, Global Digital Operations
Job Description
The Senior Director, Global Digital Operations reports to SVP, Global Digital Operations based in NYC.
What you'll do- Lead our Global Operations team in ensuring the delivery of all in-house and client content to our digital retailers; manage and coach team members based in NY, the UK, Argentina, and India
- Partner internally (label management, product development) and externally (digital service providers, 3rd parties) to identify, report and resolve issues quickly and accurately
- Oversee our internal Concierge service, monitoring top priority releases, making recommendations, and highlighting areas of concern; act as escalation point for timely operational issues
- Act as the subject matter expert on the digital music supply chain, investigating anomalies and presenting options for resolution
- Educate internal teams on updates and best practices
- Maintain a strong working relationship with all digital retailers and external business partners
- Continually build upon and improve our operations, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements to current processes
- Work with multiple departments and personnel to implement new strategies that achieve significant operational efficiencies
- Work with Business Development and Sales to integrate new digital business partners into our digital supply chains
- Actively participate in industry working groups like DDEX
- Consistently meet and/or exceed performance objectives
- 7+ years of work experience, preferably in the music, film, or entertainment industry
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Familiarity with XML/DDEX
- Strong account relationship experience working with high-profile, global businesses
- Extensive experience in defining and documenting business requirements relating to the implementation and enhancement of systems in areas such as digital content delivery, label copy, etc.
- Deadline-oriented and extremely organized
- Ability to work across a multifunctional team successfully. Experience navigating complex problems while partnering with all levels of the organization.
- Adaptable to evolving workload
- Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
