Overview
In this role, you’ll head the marketing, user acquisition and growth functions of Blitz. You’ll lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally to drive user growth and to increase engagement with the platform. Your main duties include managing user acquisition initiatives, improving conversion rates, raising awareness, working cross-department to collaborate on new growth initiatives, and contributing to the development of the product roadmap.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee marketing, user acquisition and growth functions at Blitz
- Provide strategic & tactical leadership around performance marketing, influencer marketing, and user acquisition
- Drive company-wide marketing strategy and KPIs
- Define, manage and optimize marketing budgets across performance and influencer marketing campaigns across a global footprint
- Drive efficiency of our marketing spend with continuous testing and adjustment
- Responsible for campaign setup, execution, reporting and optimization to drive performance indicators in alignment with marketing team objectives
- Define, track and report on key acquisition and marketing metrics
- Work collaboratively with design, product, operations, and engineering to align on goals & initiatives, and to identify, target and execute on new growth initiatives
- Provide regular analyses, reports and insights to senior leadership
- Build, manage and develop a high performing team
What it Takes to be Successful
- 10+ years of experience in user acquisition and marketing in the consumer internet, mobile app or gaming industries
- Gaming industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage a team, and influence stakeholders
- Thrive in a high visibility and high impact role, interfacing regularly with all levels of the organization
- Expert understanding of advertising measurement & attribution
- Analytical background, including the ability to build and maintain marketing metric reports and dashboards
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding results through others in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
- Goal focus with a strong bias toward action
- Experience and ability to create marketing budgets & forecasts
- Strong track record of leading high-performing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Grit, determination and an acute sense of urgency
- BA/BS required
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Pay and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $190k-210k USD + bonus
