Job Description

Your Role

With a high level of independent decision-making capability and minimum supervision, the Senior Director - Growth Engineering and R&D Operations will be responsible for directing a team and leading the coordination of end-to-end implementations of Innovaccer’s proprietary product line using best practices. This includes:


A Day in the Life
  • Managing the gathering and establishment of agreed-upon system principles and architecture with team.
  • Analyzing system designs and architecture, evaluating engineering and business needs, and applying independent judgment to develop processing systems that align technology solutions with business needs.
  • Leading functional and technical requirement gathering.
  • Leading the process of translating technical and user requirements into application designs based on proven design patterns and standardized architecture.
  • Leading design of components and workflows.
  • Integrating solutions into pre-existing workflows and processes to deliver best solutions.
  • Working with architects and Platform Engineering to ensure designs align with overall Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), application architecture standards and practices.
  • Directing and leading strategy and design of application frameworks to improve and customize our product; recommending technical modifications to internal systems for the integration of novel external data interfaces; and supporting programming and development teams by using proven design patterns to standardize application architecture and user interfaces.
  • Managing performance feasibility and operational assessments to conform external data systems to internal requirements.
  • Developing detailed technical documentation, identifying areas to improve operational efficiencies, and reducing internal costs.
  • Directing the testing, maintenance, and monitoring and reviewing and analyzing performance indicators to identify code problems and serving as the primary technical resource for customers during their integration projects, both by sharing in-depth knowledge and troubleshooting technical issues.

What You Need
  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related and four (4) years’ progressive professional experience as a Project/Account Manager, Operations/Business Analyst, or closely related occupation.


Must Have 
  • Relational Databases and NoSQL;
  • HTML, CSS and Web 2.0;
  • Open-source technologies;
  • Cloud-enabled services and applications;
  • Data structures and Algorithms (compatible with OS); and
  • Elastic, Hadoop, Python, and Big Data

This position allows for telecommuting.

This position requires travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
