What we're looking for

Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you will lead the entire Go-To-Market Finance team and be the primary partner to the most senior GTM executives, including being the point person to the CEO & CFO on all things topline. Your scope will encompass leadership of the entire go-to-market motion which includes all-new, expansion, and renewal sales data, marketing, and pipeline analytics - spanning both our product-led growth Self-Serve channel and our high-growth Enterprise Sales channel. 

What you'll be working on

  • Lead finance executive partner to our Chief Sales and Customer Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, embedding with their teams to help shape and define financial plans, business plans, and strategies
  • Own end-to-end annual planning, quarterly re-forecasts, and weekly analysis  for all consolidated revenue, bookings and ARR metrics across the entire company 
  • Create data-based performance culture by being the steward of some of SurveyMonkey's most critical and visible business metrics: Revenue, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR),  Bookings, Churn, Gross and Net Retention, Pipeline, GTM productivity, etc
  • Develop a deep understanding of SurveyMonkey's Self-Serve and Enterprise Sales funnel. Prepare deep dives for Executive team and the Board of Directors on GTM business performance, in collaboration with key stakeholders to inform operating health and future investment decisions
  • Drive headcount, quota capacity, and expense planning for Sales, Post-Sales and marketing teams
  • Partner with Marketing to forecast and report on marketing ROI across channels, pipeline generation and quality, CAC and payback
  • Mentor and lead a world-class team of highly ambitious finance leaders and push the boundaries on producing deeper operational insights

We'd love to hear from people with

  • You have 10+ years of directly applicable experience in Sales Finance, Strategic Finance/FP&A, Sales Operations roles with previous experience in enterprise SaaS and Product Led Growth
  • Experience with both product-led growth and sales-led growth B2B SaaS businesses, metrics, and customer lifecycle
  • 5+ years of experience as a people manager
  • Have experience cultivating C-level relationships
  • Prioritizing multiple work streams and intense demands on your time is second nature.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with mastery in developing and designing financial and operating models 
  • Experience distilling complex analyses into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans
  • Deep knowledge of SurveyMonkey's business model, strategy, markets, products, customers, and challenges - you use that knowledge to help inform significant company decisions
  • Experience navigating large networks of people and systems to find the information you need; you tell the compelling story behind the data through relevant insights and actionable conclusions

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $208,165 / year - $312,915 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.
Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
