Within NAOU, our Strategy team is responsible for defining the mid/long-term strategy for the enterprise, developing competitive insights, and leading high-priority cross-functional strategic projects to drive growth for the organization.Â
Role
The Senior Director of Strategic Projects role supports long-term strategy for the organization – helping lead and align critical work across different stakeholders / senior leaders. While this is an individual contributor role, it will leverage resources across both the Strategy and other cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward. This role requires a true General Manager mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively interact with and influence senior leaders across NAOU.
What You’ll Do for Us

Problem framing and solving: structuring and leading complex / ambiguous cross-functional analyses, initiatives, or efforts

Synthesis and storytelling: communicate to and influence stakeholders through a structured, fact-based, and action-oriented storytelling approach

Project management: lead / support execution of key initiatives and deliverables, including management of internal and external (i.e., consulting) resources

Industry and competitive assessments: develop insights to drive business and execution strategyÂ

Facilitation skills: effectively structure and lead conversations to generate actionable outcomes and progress

Strategic consulting support: serve as internal advisor to leadership / other cross-functional teams and promote agile ways of working

Influence and engage senior management and business peers: develop and communicate POV on strategic direction and actions to be taken using the power of data, insights, and the integration of holistic analysis

Stakeholder management: identify, influence, align, and engage key stakeholders
 Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business-related field required, MBA preferred

10+ years related work experience
-
Proven experience and the ability to lead in a culture first environment with demonstrated results

Strategy development experience and strong analytical background

Varied experiences across multiple functions and/or OUs preferred

Expertise in driving analytical approaches and insights

Experience in creating / developing break-through thinking to address market challenges

Ability to build partnerships and establish trust and credibility across all levels, and collaborate with / influence others to gain consensus and alignmentÂ

Pay Range:
$224,100 - $257,600
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
50
Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
Long-term Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
