Job Description

Team: Project Management

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Innovation & Delivery in the United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on turning strategic vision into execution across some of the most critical and emerging priorities within a fast-moving, mission-driven organization. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation, stepping into areas where ownership is unclear or still being defined. The role requires a strong builder mindset, capable of creating structure, operating models, and decision frameworks that enable scalable and sustainable execution. You will work closely with executive leadership, including the CEO, to translate complex priorities into clear, actionable outcomes. A key part of the role involves leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, solve complex operational challenges, and accelerate business performance. This is a highly cross-functional position where influence, clarity, and execution speed are essential. You will be expected to drive measurable outcomes while building the foundations for long-term ownership and scale.

Accountabilities:

Lead the creation, stabilization, and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives, especially in areas with unclear or emerging ownership.

  • Step into critical ownership gaps and serve as interim leader for high-impact initiatives or strategic domains.
  • Design and implement operating models, including governance structures, decision-making cadence, and accountability frameworks.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives with a strong focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify, design, and deploy AI-driven and emerging technology solutions to improve operational performance and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bring structure and momentum to underdeveloped or fragmented business areas, ensuring clarity of priorities and execution.
  • Lead through ambiguity by defining direction, consolidating ownership, and removing execution blockers.
  • Partner closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to align on strategy and execution.
  • Ensure initiatives are successfully transitioned to long-term owners once stable operating models are in place.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and execution roadmaps.
  • Continuously improve how work is organized, tracked, and delivered across functions.
  • Requirements:

This role requires exceptional strategic and operational leadership experience in high-judgment, fast-paced environments, along with a strong ability to operate in ambiguity.

    • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, investing, business operations, strategy, startup leadership, or similar high-performance environments (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG or equivalent).
    • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
    • Strong systems thinking with the ability to design scalable operating models and organizational structures.
    • High comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with incomplete information.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to move between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
    • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders including C-level leadership.
    • Demonstrated ability to build structure where none exists and drive clarity in complex situations.
    • Experience working on high-stakes initiatives requiring rapid decision-making and disciplined execution.
    • Strong ability to collaborate across functions while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
    • Passion for solving meaningful, complex business problems and delivering tangible results.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary range: $200,000 – $260,000 USD
      • Performance-based bonus and equity opportunities
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
      • Flexible, remote-first work environment
      • Generous paid time off and company-wide mental health days
      • Access to learning programs, mentorship, and professional development funding
      • Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) with discounted equity opportunities
      • Home office setup reimbursement and monthly tech stipends (cell phone & internet)
      • Paid parental leave and family support benefits
      • Strong focus on mental well-being, including no-meeting Fridays and wellness resources
      • Inclusive, mission-driven culture focused on improving healthcare outcomes
