The Team & Role

As a critical leader of the HR team, the Senior Director of Learning and Development will lead the design, development and implementation of high impact learning and development programs for the company as well as establish employee engagement programs and strategies that shape the employee experience, build high performing teams and drive our unique inclusive, high performance culture. 

In this role, you will get to:

Create the vision, strategy and design to deliver development initiatives that maximize leadership and team capabilities.  The goal is to cultivate our inclusive, high performance work environment in which every team and individual can reach their full potential.

Engage with the HR Leadership team and business leaders to ensure that organization-wide executive and leadership initiatives are focused on building leadership and team capability tied to the business and functional strategy

Determine the strategy and process to assess leaders’ capabilities and design solutions to support existing gaps

Focus on building the support system to elevate the capabilities and impact of teams of teams to deliver exceptional work and evolve their career capabilities

Partner with the Total Rewards and HRBP teams to evolve and implement the next phase of Z-Grow to support performance management

Build our engagement strategy and model from pre-hire and onboarding through post onboarding to maximize talent capability and commitment

Develop and apply measurement tools to effectively guide our talent strategies and priorities

Skills and competencies required:

  • A strategic, systems thinker who can translate business needs to a strategic vision and develop the charter and roadmap to get there
  • A strong partner who can engage directly with the the business leaders
  • Has the skills and creativity to create leadership and team training and tools that meets the specific needs of our business
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to connect the dots and weave together best in class solutions.
  • Communicates a vision and strategy with clarity.
  • Manages a team of expert development talent to deliver strong results.
