With new state-of the-art offices in Scottsdale, AZ (Headquarters) and Chicago, IL - plus a growing presence in San Francisco - we're entering our next big chapter. We focus all hiring efforts in a few states and within driving distance of an office location to enable in-person collaboration when and where possible. Priority hiring locations are Scottsdale, AZ, Illinois, NY tri-state metro area (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut) and San Francisco, CA. On exception we will hire in secondary locations such as District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. We are not actively recruiting in Colorado, Rhode Island or Washington.

This position will use Lawrence Pannell's PO number, so will be budget neutral: P002959. We are not backfilling for the old role (net neutral).
Overall Purpose
The Sr. Director, Market and Partnership Initiatives leads the vision, strategy, and execution across a portfolio of partners, resellers and technical integrators. The role will identify and execute upon strategies that drive growth, revenue and strong compliance with our Partners. These activities include:
- Identifying, building business strategies, business case and delivering upon key growth initiatives to drive both short term and longer-term growth for both Decision Insights and Zelle.
- Identification of market opportunities and EWS strategies for growth in excess of $100M annually through well-constructed, targeted thought and technical leadership.
- Vertical market and industry opportunities for expansion, including the government, technical integrators and technology platform providers.
- Partnering with Finance, Corporate Development, Marketing and other teams to drive go to market programs and high-quality leads to our partners.
- Establishing sound governance programs across all of our partners including best practices in relationship management and revenue maximization.
- Partner with legal, contracts, pricing, and client vetting teams to build quality programs and scalable services that enable strong growth.
- Assessing and developing technical and non-technical integration strategies to enable sustainable and rapid growth while protecting consumer privacy and data.
- Driving data governance, data security and compliance programs across all of our partners to ensure the integrity of our consortium data across 4,000+ clients using our products today.
Essential Functions
- Leadership: Builds internal and external coalitions and alignment on partner strategy and execution. Builds and influences cross functional mission-based teams aligned with our strategy. Directly influences executives and customer leadership with strong vision, strategy, and execution.
- Business and Financial Acumen: Develop a keen understanding our end-clients and their needs with the objective of building high growth channel, marketing, and sales programs. Measure and learn from our programs to quickly identify effectiveness and pivot resources and funding to maximize results.
- Ensure tight and compliant operating mechanisms across all of our Partnerships: Establish uniform programs including processes, procedures and reporting across all 29 partners and 4,000 clients to ensure tight adherence to Early Warning contracts, rules, policies procedures and operating guides. Establish, working with Governance, Legal, Security and Compliance Teams at Early Warning, best in class strategies and methodologies to ensure strong data stewardship and governance across all partners and relationships.
- Identify, assess and bring new partnership growth opportunities to market: Working closely across marketing, sales, analytics, design and development partners, drives strong go to market strategies to attain product revenue and client adoption targets. Holds teams accountable to internal financial targets, customer net promoter and satisfaction goals. Working closely with our Corporate Strategy, Product, and Marketing Teams, build out industry and channel opportunities where Partnerships can deliver superior growth and penetration for Early Warning. Examples include, but are not limited to Federal and State Government, Insurance, Banking, and Technical Service Providers.
- Performance and customer science focused: Incents and expects top performance by measuring and inspecting results. Put into place working with Analytics and Technology, holistic partner metrics and insights including: usage and adoption metrics, performance metrics, customer satisfaction metrics, compliance/audit/risk metrics (KRI's) and program related metrics.
- Thought leader: Possesses a deep understanding of the market, industry, and competitive environment, translating advantages to a winning position. A natural curious learner, able to challenge existing norms and motivate the team to achieve targets. An active participant in helping our customers develop solutions across all disciplines. This role will participate directly in Early Warning's thought leadership programs to the external market.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a master's degree in business, economics, finance or related area of expertise or commensurate work experience plus a bachelor's degree
- 15 or more years of related work experience in corporate strategy, growth strategy or business leadership in financial services.
- Mergers, Acquisitions, Investments Experience.
- Demonstrated experience in partnerships and partnership strategy
- Demonstrated leadership experience and cross functional collaboration experience including direct management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in setting a strategy, roadmap and in meeting channel revenue targets including successful business case presentations to executive committees and board level committees.
- Demonstrated experience driving alignment at the executive and client leadership level.
- Excellent listening and execution skills
- Background and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Prior experience working in payments, financial services, Treasury or Client-side Payments / Fraud or similar regulated industry.
- People management experience. This position may direct reports or a team as the business strategies are executed and developed.
Physical Requirements
Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment. As such, working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
