The Senior Director, Marketing Technology, Operations and Analytics will lead a B2B2C marketing operations team that drives more efficient and effective output across Guild’s GTM motion. This leadership role will be responsible for advancing the team’s technical expertise as we continue to modernize our capabilities. We are seeking a candidate who will become integral to aligning our marketing technology, data, and people to achieve our ambitious objectives.
As the Senior Director, Marketing Technology, Operations and Analytics you will:
- Lead a team of 10+ high-performing and motivated marketers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance individual and collective performance.
- Work across teams to optimize the B2B and B2C funnels, putting our customers (either potential partners or new/existing members) at the center of any contact strategy.
- Focus deeply on our ability to appropriately segment audiences and deliver personalization at scale across a variety of marketing channels.
- Own the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring that our technology meets the needs of the marketing department, aligns with the roadmaps for other internal teams, and surpasses the expectations of our customers.
- Drive the need for optimization while continuously pursuing a future-facing model of martech capabilities. Recommend and implement new vendors and tools to become seamless parts of the martech stack, as needed.
- Ensure a focus on testing and measurement. Regularly deliver analytics and insights on marketing performance to internal stakeholders in order to drive cross-functional alignment. Work closely with the team to continuously improve marketing’s analytic aptitude.
- Align directly with other key leaders in Marketing, Product, Data, Engineering and other teams in order to coalesce around a unified communications vision that will serve us for years to come.
- Ensure business goals are achieved in a consistent and compliant manner through process, training, and oversight.
- Drive the insights engine from our marketing activities that can inform and shepard action from across the organization. Oversee the development of marketing dashboards to help the business understand performance and trajectory.Â
You are a strong fit for this role it you can demonstrate:
Required Competencies:
- 10+ years of marketing operations experience in a B2B2C environment
- 5+ years of leadership experience in high-growth environments
- Deep experience across a variety of marketing automation tools and data platforms. We are specifically seeking someone with experience in SFDC, ABM tools (e.g., Demandbase), Marketo and Iterable, although experience in related platforms will be considered.
- Able to recruit, hire, develop and retain top-tier diversified talent
- Have a clear understanding of the marketing communications compliance landscape
- Able to prioritize across teams with a focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness
- Ability to take disparate data from across the marketing organization and hone in on actionable insightsÂ
- Deep experience in marketing reporting and data visualizationÂ
- Able to move quickly from defining problems to developing solutions
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience with complex enterprise sales models is preferred
- Experience in the education industry is a plus, but not required
We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $170,000 - $200,000, as well as company stock options.Â
