Senior Director, Network Deployment PMO

Role and Responsibilities

The Deployment Services PMO team leader will manage the PMO offices for Samsung Network Deployment Services and Deployment Execution for all non-SNAP projects. This role supports a wide range of initiatives for the Samsung Networks business. Given the large number of new customers, wide variety of new projects and expected continued growth in business, a major need is to continue to build and execute on an efficient program management platform and Processes. The position is based in Plano, TX but can be flexible for the right person. Key activities and responsibilities include:

• Overall and for each step, deployment process creator and owner
• Owner/keeper of project/process data repository
• Bid and Proposals activities for all Services projects
• Creator of internal project reporting template, with clear requirements/expectation to what needs are from other teams i.e. deployment execution teams
• Creator of the initial deployment project plan for new projects as requested by CAT, working with Operations and Customer teams
• Collection and reporting of various deployment projects weekly reports using above template, including highlighting risks
• Owner/interface to various deployment and PMO tools i.e. SPMS, OV, SAP,
• Owner/reporter for deployment project quality
• Owner/reporter for deployment Safety processes and inspection
• Execute successfully various deployment projects assigned to the team.
• Owner for all Training activities - customer, GC and internal.
• Promoter of automation to improve efficiency and costs
• Deployment Services P/L

The successful leader in this role will enable a highly efficient, profitable and well-structured deployment services organization, which would enable confidence to our customers on our Services capabilities. Some of the key expectations of these roles includes Planning accuracy and timeliness, deployment services profitability, communication clarity, timely trained resource availability, delivering on commitments and best in class PMO tool adoption.

Skills and Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; MBA is strongly preferred;
• Project Management certification.
• 15+ years of experience required with 8+ years of project management experience in a Mobile Network Telecommunication Service organization.
• Understanding of US Deployment Industry is very highly desirable
• Ability to influence and roll out major processes across the organization.

• Very strong verbal and written communication skills and facility for establishing relationships cross-functionally and cross-divisionally and with customer
• Strong knowledge of Project/Program management tools, processes including automation techniques is mandatory
• Authorized to work in the U.S
