Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The position of Senior Director, New Product Introduction will serve as a key leader playing an integral role in shaping the future of the Nuance Healthcare by owning and managing a significant sized multidisciplinary portfolio of strategic business programs. You will drive new product introductions, commercialization, market expansions, and lifecycle management, delivering to the business case objectives for each program.
In this highly visible role, you will work across the organization with multiple General Managers and key cross-functional business leaders, leveraging the skills and knowledge of go-to market strategies, operational delivery efficiencies, program management discipline, and solutions commercialization programs. You will be accountable for successful stage gate milestones for each program and driving the agreed upon key business metrics.
The initiatives in scope will include programs across the product life cycle including solution launch and expansion, bookings and revenue growth, new markets expansion, solution sunset strategies and compliance initiatives. The role is responsible for all aspects of the management of a program's activities including program development, launch, execution, measurement, tracking and reporting through the product lifecycle.
This position requires a self-starter with a unique blend of program management, leadership, strategy, business consulting, product marketing, product management experience, delivery and operational readiness, and solutions lifecycle management.

REQUIREMENTS:
- A proven track record of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in delivering measurable business results and leadership
- A proven track record in a leadership New Product Introduction, Go-To-Market / Commercialization Program Management or related client service delivery management in a service based global organization leading various business growth programs, new products or solutions launches and managing cross functional project teams. Experience with program-level development and/or coordination of product release plan, go-to-market plan, sales readiness plan, operations and support readiness plan
- 5+ years of direct people management experience. Dynamic people leader with growth mindset, open to embrace new ways of working and drive change. Must have a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude to dig in and partner with their own team members to drive program objectives
- Aptitude to develop/maintain deep understanding of market opportunity, user needs, buyer journey, sales cycle, deployment process, and ongoing delivery model to drive business growth programs. Healthcare background is a plus
- Ability to build and execute comprehensive program plans consisting of business analysis findings, strategic direction, data supported conclusions and timelines
- Comfortable with supporting business case development and review program financials
- Proven communication skills with C-level executives and senior management including the ability to create and deliver executive level presentations
- Cross functional leadership skills with the ability to instill trust and utilize influence in a matrix organization to produce results.
- Expert level knowledge and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Excel is essential in this role incl. ability to build business consultancy level PowerPoint content.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- PMI PMP, New Product Development Professional (NPDP) or other product management certifications highly preferred
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to simplify
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a software and technology services organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
- Deep knowledge of best practice pre-sales, training, organizational change management, and project management methodologies and processes.
- Basic knowledge of electronic medical records systems, electronic physician documentation, biomedical informatics, Natural Language Processing, and Clinical Language Understanding is a plus
- Good understanding of agile software development environment processes and working experience with R&D and Product Management functions
- Confirmed ability at building strong working relationships and influencing both internal and external partners at all levels; passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in others
- Proficient analytical skills using data to derive actionable insights and drive decisions in a corporate environment
- MBA is highly preferred
- Travel: Up to 10%, including international travel if needed
