Senior Director of Actuarial Services

The Senior Director of Actuarial Services will:

• Lead the pricing function for fully insured commercial and ACA business.
• Chair the company Pricing Committee, which provides rate recommendations for all of Medica's products.
• Provide technical professional leadership for all of Medica's actuarial team, particularly for the employees in our Madison, WI location.
• Partner with Markets Division leadership on product development and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in company and industry committees and discussions, as appropriate.

The Sr. Director position reports to the Chief Actuary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, economics, statistics, or related plus 10+ years of experience
• Fellow, Society of Actuaries or equivalent
• Member, American Academy of Actuaries
• Health plan financial, underwriting, and actuarial experience required with increasing levels of leadership
