About The Role & Team

The Senior Director of Business Technology (BT) is a senior-level leadership role within Corporate Engineering, responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's Go-To-Market (GTM) technology. In this role you will be responsible for delivering BT projects for our GTM efforts and leading all aspects of business engagement and oversight of strategic, cross-functional programs. The Senior Director of BT works closely with the company's executive team to develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

 As Senior Director of Business Technology, you will: 

  • Develop and execute a technology roadmap and vision for the organization, including evaluating emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to improve business operations through the use of technology.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of all GTM applications (Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Gainsight, CPQ, LeadIQ, Gong and others) and ensure they meet the organization's functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage a team of business analysts, developers and technical staff, including hiring, training, and mentoring. Lead an inclusive, empowered, engaged, and high-performing team.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technology and ensure that the organization's applications and data are secure and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate with executive leadership and stakeholders to ensure that technology initiatives align with business needs and goals.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • At least 15 years of experience with GTM systems (Salesforce and its ecosystem), with at least 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience designing and supporting critical business processes including Lead to Opportunity, Pricing & Packaging, Quote to Cash and Renewals.
  • Experience managing Agile SCRUM teams for the delivery of GTM systems on an aggressive schedule.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor a team of developers and technical staff.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado: Colorado range: $244,000 - $367,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals will work for Amplitude in New York City: New York City salary range: $272,000 - $408,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude California: California salary range: $272,000 - $408,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state: Washington salary range: $244,000 - $367,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
