Summary:

Dynatron Software is looking for a Senior Director of Data who has experience building a first party data platform on top of a cloud data warehouse. You will lead a team of data engineers, analytical engineers, and data scientists that is responsible for delivering and maintaining solutions for internal insights, data integration with Dynatron Software’s SaaS offering, and developing and delivering curated datasets.

In this role you will also become the subject matter expert to help drive future AI initiatives and, data integration. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the intersection of the automotive world and data, motivated to implement modern data solutions, and capable of working effectively across functional groups.
Qualified Candidates Need:

• 10+ years of experience as a member of a data analytics, engineering or adjacent team.
• 5 years of experience with leading and managing direct reports.
• 5 years of relevant experience architecting the complete end to end design of enterprise-wide solution using latest technologies – AWS Glue, AWS EMR, AWS Lambda, AWS Batch, Spring boot/Spring Cloud, Rest API, SQL
• 5 years of experience in SQL Python, Core Java, AWS, Rest API, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring cloud etc.
• 3 years of experience in AI & ML Methodologies
• Experience with data modeling, complex data structures, data processing, and data quality and data lifecycle
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to provide solutions for specific business requirements.
• Should be able to lead critical aspects of the data management and application management.
• Experience in large scale server-side application development that includes the design and implementation of high-volume data processing jobs.
• Cultural awareness with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Passion and drive for continuous improvement and transformational change, with a business owner mentality.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define, manage, and execute a comprehensive data program with a focus on measuring, improving, and reporting on the data quality of those programs.
• Drive initiatives to ensure that data is managed consistently in line with business strategies and requirements.
• Provide leadership on driving initiatives to improve business performance through improved decision making based on sound analysis of structured information captured in databases and other information repositories.
• Design data architecture solutions using data technologies like Python, Snowflake, Spark, SQL, AWS Glue, AWS EMR, AWS Lambda etc.
• Strong understanding of AI and ML algorithms & methodologies
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Devise, Lead and execute continual improvement initiatives in all Data Management Service delivery and technology, with a focus on delivery velocity and quality.
• Partner with business leaders to determine and prioritize delivery initiatives.
• Define or influence system, technical and application architectures for major areas of development.
• Devise, Lead and execute in software development life cycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, release management, and maintenance.
• Engage with business partners to report (formally and informally) on technology strengths, weaknesses, successes, and challenges on a regular basis.
• Should be an individual with in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the areas of Data Management, BI Architecture, Product Development, RDBMS and non-RDBMS platforms.
• Should have excellent analytical skills, able to recognize data patterns and troubleshoot the data.
• Will be responsible for design and delivery of data solutions to empower a core product line, BI initiatives, dashboards, and DaaS offerings.

Total Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000

Bonus: 10% (60% performance, 40% company profit targets)
