Senior Director of Growth and Development

About the role:

To build and extend Smartbear’s success and growth, we are looking for a Senior Director of Growth and Development, reporting to the Chief People Officer. As the Global Leader of our Growth and Development, this position will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of global talent programs, designing and implementing global talent solutions to attract, develop, engage and retain Smartbear’s talent. This role offers the opportunity to influence every part of the employee life cycle by supporting the development of our people. Director of Talent Management will be a key leader in driving our success while considering Smartbear’s values and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Create the vision for delivering innovative, high-quality learning solutions that instill a culture of learning across all functions
• Develop and deliver new learning and development programs as required by the strategic talent needs of the business.
• Work cross-functionally to diagnose organization learning & development needs to support business growth and objectives.
• Identify and develop global tools and processes to deliver learning solutions to meet business and talent requirements.
• Develop and deploy numerous concurrent high-visibility learning programs that demonstrably improve our leaders’ abilities to build high-performing teams and drive results.
• Drive the roadmap to develop critical capabilities that enable our growth strategy - programs encompass, early career, high potential, people leadership and leadership development --with a core focus on developing manager capabilities
• Lead the design and implementation of succession planning and key talent review processes with stakeholders to execute talent success and professional career development plans and programs
• Leading and driving our Talent Performance Management Program
• Spearheading the design and delivery of a “best in class” Onboarding Program
• Design and develop enterprise level talent processes to support business strategy.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum of 10 – 15 years’ experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development. Talent Acquisition, Operations experience is a bonus.
• Experience in curriculum design and delivery across multiple modalities.
• Success in navigating the dynamics of complex organizational systems
• Exceptional project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to effectively build trusted relationships and influence people at all levels in the organization
• Experience scaling programs within a rapidly growing company
