Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Senior Director of Marketing at Wake Research, an M3 company. This is a remote position with up to 10-20% travel.Ā

M3 Wake Research is an integrated network of premier investigational sites meeting the clinical research needs of the global biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations (CRO's). Conducting studies since 1984, M3 Wake Research owns a proprietary patient database of potential clinical trial participants across USA. As of today, our board-certified physicians have completed more than 7,000+ successful clinical trials, while consistently exceeding sponsor expectations for integrity, timeliness, subject enrollment, human protection, and expeditious delivery of accurate evaluable data.
Job DescriptionMission of the Role:
The Senior Director of Marketing at Wake Research is a visionary leader, dedicated to driving the company's patient recruitment strategies for challenging clinical trials. This role is centered around setting and achieving ambitious patient recruitment goals, fostering collaboration across clinical sites and departments, and leveraging a deep understanding of marketing campaigns to drive patient engagement and participation. The Senior Director of Marketing will work closely with various teams, providing direction, feedback, and insights to ensure the success of all patient recruitment initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive patient recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and the specific challenges of each clinical trial.
- Campaign Oversight: Oversee the creation, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns tailored to target patient demographics for specific trials.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and patient engagement teams, to ensure cohesive and effective recruitment efforts.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze patient recruitment metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
- Team Development: Mentor, guide, and develop the patient recruitment marketing team, setting clear performance expectations and ensuring continuous professional growth.
- Budget Management: Oversee the patient recruitment marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest patient recruitment marketing trends and technologies, integrating them into the company's strategies as appropriate.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders about patient recruitment initiatives, performance, and strategic direction.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and agencies that support patient recruitment efforts, ensuring they align with the company's standards and goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback loops to gather insights from patients, clinical teams, and other stakeholders to continuously refine and improve recruitment strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all patient recruitment marketing initiatives adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure that patient recruitment strategies are inclusive and aim to reach diverse patient populations, reflecting the demographics of the communities served.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years in marketing with a strong background in driving results from targeted campaigns. Experience in a leadership role is a must.
- Deep knowledge of patient recruitment strategies, channels, and challenges.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to drive innovation and think outside the box.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving patient recruitment goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. An ability to consume, absorb, and analyze large amounts of information.
- Ability to multi-task, work under time constraints, work independently and cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams.
