Senior Director of Operations

BridgeTower Media is seeking a strong, process-driven Senior Director of Operations to work with the Shared Services teams. This position oversees all print, digital and marketing production and legal notice intake and production for the company. Ideal candidate should live in the St. Louis, MO area. 

What skills does the job require?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar study
  • Knowledge of print and digital media
  • High sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to professionally handle client issues and maintain good business relations
  • A strong sense of ownership
  • A commitment to deadlines
  • Previous experience in a shared services environment—large newspaper, media, internal/external partners is a plus
  • Ability to manage a team remotely as well as be the boots on the ground and jump in where needed 
  • Flexible to travel into the office when needed
  • Be strategic and tactical in everyday operations and decisions 
  • Ability to solve any problems that emerge in a timely manner 
  • Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down

What will you be Responsible for?

  • Lead the shared services teams in a positive direction to obtain goals that have been set while building relationships with team members and customers
  • Communicates directly with vendors and publishers to ensure all quality standards and project deadlines are met
  • Collaborates daily with the internal teams to complete assigned projects effectively and efficiently
  • Manage processes and efficiencies
  • Auditing the quality of what is being produced by the shared services team 
  • Transforming the teams to support the organizations digital-first strategy
  • Navigating internal clients and vendors
  • Interacts effectively and professionally with peers, senior leadership, and clients across all topics from business to creative
