The role:
We're looking for a Senior Director of Product and UX/UI to lead our Product and UX/UI teams. As the Head of Product and UX/UI, you will be responsible for the product strategy for our core e-commerce DTC business, as well as drive innovation and direction for emerging business lines like B2B and gifting. In this role, you will lead a team of product managers and user experience designers to help drive our product strategy and create a seamless user experience. This role reports directly to the President at Nuts.com and is a high impact position with the opportunity to meaningfully shape the Company’s direction and growth.
Example projects in your roadmap may include leading the 0-1 launch of new brands, website redesign, and conversion rate optimization.
What you'll do:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and executive leadership to define and align on the product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization, using structured thinking and established frameworks. Stay on the cutting edge of what is best in class and new in ecommerce and user experience
- UX/UI Strategy and Development: Develop and communicate a comprehensive UX/UI strategy and vision that aligns with the company's brand identity, target audience, and business objectives
- Lead the design process from prototypes and wireframes to user testing and internal feedback loops; support the UX/UI team in user research and testing programs including usability testing, A/B testing and site surveys; utilize results to inform UX evolution
- Product and UX/UI Execution: Contribute as both a leader and owner as needed, including developing product requirements and user story development, tracking key performance user experience metrics and A/B testing results, and measuring product success/KPIs
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers and UX designers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and exceptional user experiences
- Cross Functional Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, engineering, merchandising, operations, and customer support to align on objectives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure successful product launches and ongoing optimizations
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in product management and UX design, with at least 5+ years of experience managing and developing a high performing team
- Proven track record of building, launching and managing consumer-facing digital products in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment
- Strong expertise and experience with analytical decision-making, A/B testing, headless e-commerce and CMS platforms like Builder.io, and working with engineering teams in an Agile environment
- Proficiency in exploring, evaluating, and refining product ideas using a range of design, research, and prototyping methods. Bonus for experience with product/design tools build vs. buy evaluation and decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, as well as articulate design decisions and offer constructive feedback to designers and your peers
- Ability to balance and move between tactical and strategic design needs
- A strong customer empathy and a passion for delivering a delightful customer experience

Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experience and qualifications for the role. Base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include short & long term incentive compensation. In addition, employees are eligible for our standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and 401K match.
