Senior Director of Security

As the Director of Security, you will play a critical role in establishing strategic direction for the company, delivering exceptional solutions and services to Two Six Technologies as we continue to grow.  You see security as an enabler and differentiator, not simply a compliance process.  You lead and motivate a team, collaborate with leaders across the company, and develop and execute detailed plans to help ensure the safety of our people, property, and assets.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, administer, and maintain strategies, policies, and architecture for security infrastructure to reduce risks to the company
• Manage all information, personnel, and physical security programs across the company
• Implement effective vulnerability management processes and business continuity programs
• Lead the response to information security incidents, including investigations of, countermeasure to, and recovery from cyber-attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; engage, interact, and coordinate with incident responders, including law enforcement
• Develop, Plan, and Execute the annual security program goals, budgeting, inspections, Insider Threat activities.
• Develop and deploy Data Loss Prevention programs in coordination with IT / Cyber security team.
• Arbitrate policy and processes regarding personnel and facility clearances
• Guide and ensure the effective execution of clearance applications and reinvestigations
• Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate important outcomes such as Authorizations to Operate, Passing Facility Audits, etc.
• Assist with the identification, procurement and management of classified networks and systems
• Establish key performance indicators and metrics for vulnerability management, incident response, security awareness training, and other security processes
• Ensure government reporting requirements as it relates to personnel, facility, and other aspects of our security program are met
• Hire, mentor, and train staff to be part of the Security Team
• Educate and influence executive leadership and employees to effectively leverage security capabilities and solutions to mitigate risks and emerging threats
• Communicate and provide updates to leadership, as needed
• Lead the development and administration of security training and awareness programs
• Develop and maintain all information security documentation, process, and training
• Assist the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to oversee classified IS program; asset accountability, DSS accreditation, and operation of assets; works with end users to ensure that assets are being used properly and in accordance with all government directives and regulations.
• Participate in the review of government and commercial proposals for security requirements and impacts.
• Manage operations for DOD SCIF within the TST headquarters and multiple DOD/IC SCIFs at offsite/distant locations.
• Manage facilities personnel as needed.

Key qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience, leading security teams for DoD and/or IC community contractor(s) in the security compliance requirements for Collateral, SCI, and Special Access Programs.
• Certified Facility Security Officer (CFSO)
• Experience as Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)
• Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Working knowledge of e-QIP, DISS, NISS, ACCS, NBIS
• Experience as a COMSEC custodian.
• Completion of the DSS FSO Program Management for Possessing Facility Curriculum
• Experience processing, issuance, and revisions of DD 254’s
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community classified programs
• In depth knowledge and understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) Collateral, DoD Special Access Program (SAP), and Intelligence Community (IC) requirements
• Working knowledge of all industrial security program functions including Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Communications Security (COMSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Counterintelligence and Insider Threat, systems security and program protection.
• Experience working Security requirements for Collateral, SCI and Special Access Programs.
