Senior Director of Strategic Finance

About the Role:
Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for a motivated Senior Director of Strategic Finance to join our team.
The Sr. Director of Strategic Finance will help lead our Strategic Finance function at Bond. Their role will support Bond’s growth by leading analytical projects, analyzing the impact of various growth initiatives, fundraising, and revenue maximization through capital allocation and budgeting.
The role is based in New York City, at our Chelsea HQ, and reports into our VP of Finance.Â
What You’ll Do:- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to operationalize strategic projects.Â
- Work with senior leadership in evaluating key business initiatives including new products, pricing & revenue strategies, strategic partnerships, new market entry, etc.
- Help lead a team of capable managers and analysts possessing high degrees of communication skills, analytical ability, and a broad toolkit across finance, data, and strategic concepts.
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify, report, and monitor key operational and financial metrics to support business decision-making.
- Assess the validity and durability of in-clinic pilot tests/projects and their impact on unit economics.Â
- Interpret key operational performance indicators, growth trends, and competitive positioning to inform strategic recommendations for senior management.
- Play an integral role in fundraising.
- Develop materials and communication for the Board of Directors and investors.
- 7+ Years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate financeÂ
- Industry experience in healthcare, retail, or consumer products preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance, MBA preferred
- Strong Excel / PowerPoint / NetSuite / Financial modeling skills
- Strong quantitative skills including business case development, market analysis, and financial and operational performance
