About the Job

As the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition you will lead all internal recruiting efforts at Redesign. You will help define our talent acquisition strategy and implement key processes that will help us expand as we scale. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on operator and leader who isn’t afraid to spend time in the weeds of recruiting, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates. We use a structured, skills based approach to recruiting and operate with a heightened focus on process.

You will report to our Head of Redesign Talent & People and be part of a growing Talent Acquisition team supporting an organization of approximately 240 employees (and growing). You could be based in the New York area and open to coming to our office at least one day a week according to our hybrid work approach, or you could be based anywhere in the US and you are encouraged to travel a few times each year to spend time together in person with your other co-workers.

What you'll do:
  • Partner closely with senior leadership within our Office of the CEO, Finance, and People Experience Teams at Redesign Health to define recruiting needs
  • Learn and gain a deep understanding of Redesign Health’s business
  • Lead key, strategic Recruiting projects including but not limited to Talent brand strategy, Employee Value Proposition, etc
  • Manage and grow a highly effective team of recruiters and sourcers
  • Build infrastructure and establish to support the Talent team as well as Hiring Managers and key stakeholders through the talent acquisition effort
  • Review and continuously improve the interview and selection process for the organization
  • Drive recruiting for senior positions across all teams
  • Build a pipeline of talent for future and/or unexpected hiring needs
  • Own efforts in defining and building the Redesign Talent brand across the NYC startup ecosystem
What you'll need:
  • You have 8+ years of experience in a talent acquisition role, most of which has been in-house
  • You have 3+ years managing high caliber recruiting teams
  • You have 4+ years experience in effectively managing and collaborating across cross-functional and senior stakeholders
  • You have the ability to create, operationalize, and analyze KPIs that engender continuous improvement
