Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Centria Healthcare is a leading provider of home-based catastrophic injury and rehabilitation care, private duty nursing, and supportive living services. Centria Healthcare Autism Services is the largest provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across the state of Michigan, with services in other states.

 

Position Summary

As a Senior Director of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Technician Recruiting Team, you will oversee a group of Recruiters who will recruit individuals interested in working with children on the Autism Spectrum. Those candidates will become Behavior Technicians who will provide ABA Therapy. ABA Therapy is a Surgeon General approved and peer-reviewed science that significantly impacts social and functional living skills for children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum. This role ranges in responsibility from strategic planning to tactical execution and includes implementing talent acquisition programs that positively strengthen the organization's capabilities in attracting, assessing, and selecting top talent.

Success Measures

Success measures include adherence to Centria policies, flawless execution of tasks, and meeting or exceeding personal qualitative and quantitative key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities

The below reflects the essential functions considered necessary for a Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements inherent in the job or assigned by supervisory personnel.   • Maintain and manage our Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System to track applicant progress.
  • Responsible for the High Volume and Specialist Delivery and ensuring the appropriate balance, resources, demand, and performance are in line to deliver organizational targets.
  • Train, upskill, and drive recruitment performance.
  • Drive process improvement efforts and build new processes to combat existing deficits.
  • Educate candidates on the basics of ABA, the role of a Behavior Technician, and their next steps in the onboarding process.
  • Keep track of the scheduling and interviewing and determine the outcome of interviews with candidates.
  • Manage and keep track of offer letters and gather preliminary paperwork from candidates.
  • Attend job fairs as directed to represent Centria.
  • Work with talent agencies to help set up additional funnels of candidates into the company.
  • Assist with special projects to build candidate pipelines in certain areas as necessary.
  • Manage team to performance expectations and beyond.

Managerial Responsibility

This role is directly responsible for individuals, including managers, with duties consisting of:

  • Leading and maintaining staff by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training team members;
  • Ensuring the daily functions of the department are completed by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results;
  • Driving and maintaining goals from the Team Member Support Dashboard;
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements;
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each team member understands the standards and behaviors expected of them.

Key Fiscal Responsibilities

This role has some financial oversight responsibilities.

Education/Licenses

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience managing people in a recruiting environment (healthcare recruiting experience a plus but not required)
  • Excellent recruiting and customer service experience Equipment and Technology Requirements
  • Basic computer skills
  • Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency in G Suite

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic with attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

Working Conditions

  • Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM 6:00 PM.
  • Additional time or occasional shifts in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
