Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Senior Director of Treasury will be responsible for treasury and cash management activities across the organization, which could include debt management, issuance of new debt, coordination of continuing disclosure requirements, preparation of presentation materials to external parties such as rating agencies and investors, participation in capital planning activities in terms of capital capacity determination and capital allocation, lease analysis, and lease financing.

Manages traditional treasury functions, including all banking relationships and internal operations relating to receipts and disbursement. Work closely with financial management within the organization, and with businesses, and service providers. Adds value by thinking strategically, applying treasury strategy to actual issues and mentoring junior staff.

Directs staff to gather, process, and summarize complex financial information to provide support to the organization's fiscal functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles related to the goals of the company. Maintain a collaborative spirit and foster strong relationships across the department and throughout the organization.

Oversees staff and ensures adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget.

• Develops and manages global cash flow forecast and budget for treasury activities such as interest expense, bank fees, and investment income; oversee banking relationships; negotiate fees and implement bank technologies, products and services to improve cash-cycle and simplify company operations; Prepare analysis and reports for Executive leadership. Assists with management of investment portfolio. Oversees lease-financing opportunities according to policy and procedure. Performs lease vs. buy analyses and related recommendations. Prepares analysis of lease agreements to determine proper accounting treatment.
• Manages all treasury operations including cash receipts and disbursements, wires and account funding; ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs; manage intercompany cash flows, including intercompany loans, dividends, short term investments and capital injections. Manage and oversee preparation of Form 990 Schedule K reporting on post-issuance compliance of tax-exempt financed assets.
• Manages existing debt facilities, covenant forecasting, compliance reporting, work with legal counsel in update of Master Trust Indenture, prepare and coordinate presentations, and develop relationships with credit rating agencies, credit providers and other interested financial parties; develop and monitor treasury operational policies; provide financial statement disclosures and support audits as necessary; prepare requisitions for new money bond financing projects; responsible for ongoing compliance of bond arbitrage reports.
• Maintains a system of sustainable policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of internal control over treasury activities. Drives continuous process improvements. Cross functional leader and subject matter expert on credit card PCI-DSS compliance.
