Job Description

As the Senior Director, Payments Programs, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of strategic payment programs aimed at enhancing our company's payment solutions portfolio. This role requires a strong background in payments, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will be primarily responsible for the accelerated completion of existing payments product and partner integrations into Daxko’s software applications and executing corporate payments consolidation strategies. 

In this role, you will have ownership of planning and executing large, strategic payments integration projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, coaching, and mentoring team members in relation to the payments industry. You'll work closely with our Product, Technology, and other Payments experts to ensure that the corporate payments vision and mission is executed ahead of schedule and with 100% accuracy. 

As a Leader, you will: 

• Serve on the Payments Leadership Team 
• Serve as a Payments Subject Matter Expert across the company 
• Serve as our Stripe Subject Matter Expert – Domestic and International 

You will also:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for payment programs aligned with company goals and industry trends 
• Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of existing payment programs to drive business growth and to meet customer needs 
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with existing payment providers to identify opportunities for product enhancements 
• Collaborate with our Product and Technology teams to document payments requirements and drive the delivery of payments functionality for customers 
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, technology, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and successful implementation of payment programs 
• Monitor and analyze program performance metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions 
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards related to payments, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation 
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the payments team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement 
• Take ownership of Payments products currently in production and /or under development. 
• Consistently exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Eight (8) or more years of integrated payments experience or related fintech experience
• Proven record of success in implementing payment programs that drive business growth and customer satisfaction 
• Experience meeting with C-level executives and decision-makers 
• Demonstrated expertise in project management and payments software integrations
• Demonstrated knowledge of domestic and international processing environments 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex financial projects 
• Demonstrated expertise in payments-related products and services 
• Strong understanding of payment industry trends, technologies, and regulatory landscape. 
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with business partners 
• Excellent communicator able to convey complex ideas succinctly
• Strong presentation and documentation skills
• Exceptional customer service skills including patience and empathy 
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field 
• Familiarity with Fiserv and Stripe processing services and products
