Role : Sr Director Product Management

Location : Dallas TX or Remote

The Sr Director of ABP of Forecasting will provide the strategy, direction, health and success of the Demand planning portfolio spanning multiple services, global customers and a shifting technology landscape in the increasingly competitive software market.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategy/Vision/ Plan:
  • Responsible for the health, growth, and customer satisfaction of the global ABP Demand business segment spanning software, maintenance, and services
  • Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle from ideation, development, product launch, maturation and end of life
  • Identify and drive new opportunities for growth including new products, new functionality, new markets, new partnerships
  • Analyze and recommend build vs. buy vs. partner strategies to grow the business
  • Effectively prioritize the potential investments in the product portfolio through market research, customer engagement, and business case development
  • Drive and define a roadmap that strengthens and grows Blue Yonder's market share of planning market
  • Provide leadership to ensure success in executing against vision, strategy and plans

Execute/Deliver:
  • Transform the solutions and overall business from traditional software to SaaS
  • Integrate key technology from multiple product acquisitions into one cohesive product and direction; effectively communicate positioning guidance for sales and customer success
  • Engage actively with global customers to establish partnerships, address issues, support implementations, communicate vision and direction, and engage in joint roadmap planning
  • Identify, drive, manage and engage with potential partnerships spanning technology, data, sales and consulting companies

Inspire/Evangelize:
  • Charter and support required field education to enable effective positioning, selling, implementation and supporting of the ABP Demand solutions
  • Communicate direction, investment requirements, business cases, business segment health, challenges and opportunities to senior executives, the Board, and internal stakeholders
  • Support key, strategic customer engagements and adoption of new innovations
  • Foster a customer-first culture where customer success is at the center of all strategies and decisions
  • Be the ABP Planning spokesperson/evangelist for the company's customers and prospects, as well as for industry analysts and the press
  • Responsible for leading, managing, developing, coaching and mentoring a global team of product managers
  • Promote professional growth and learning for team members by facilitating access to training and conferences.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Visionary, outside the box forward thinker & proactive leader with an ability to identify brand new opportunities to advance the portfolio
  • Deep experience in Forecasting, automation, micro fulfillment, ecommerce segments
  • Extensive experience in implementing, developing or managing Demand Forecasting products
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of global leadership experience in Forecasting with proven track record of success
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Strong collaboration skills, driving many different people and departments to align to common goals and vision; ability to build consensus across disparate teams
  • Results driven; resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
  • Effective balance of strategic thinking and detail oriented
  • Ability to motivate a large, global organization
  • Able to navigate seamlessly between setting a strategy and executing/implementing
  • Possess a well-rounded business background with experience in collaborating with many different departments including sales, presales, marketing, finance, legal and development
  • Identifies with Blue Yonder's core values of relentless, results and teamwork

Ability to travel (10%-25%) both domestically and internationally
