We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to join our team that manages the digital customer experience. Our team looks across the customer lifecycle and helps customers discover, buy, and use Autodesk's products through engaging digital experiences. In this role, you will be leading the product vision and strategy to help customers discover Autodesk, understand our products, and get started through the digital experience. This role will be a strategic partner with our marketing and customer success teams as we build the future of the customer experience. This role requires an experienced leader who can drive innovation and simplicity, balance business outcomes and technical requirements, grow and develop a team, and succeed in executive briefings and scrum ceremonies.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong product vision that delivers on our business needs to transform the customer experience and connect with customers in seamless ways
  • Lead and encourage a team of product managers to deliver product roadmap and execution excellence while creating growth and development opportunities
  • Drive aligned product roadmap across your team to ensure we collaborate effectively and prioritize the most important initiatives
  • Connect GTM and customer requirements to create product requirements and foster this culture across the team
  • Establish trust and relationships with senior leaders across divisions and create aligned strategy that ensures success
  • Leverage strong business instinct to question convention and build innovative solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years of experience in running scaled product teams, building roadmaps, and working with engineering
  • Deep product management expertise and the ability to teach fundamentals and ensure best practices working across product, engineering, and UX
  • Strong and concise verbal and written communication skills with an ability to distill differing opinions and build coalitions
  • Excellent people management with the ability to manage managers, build morale and cohesion, and hire the best
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience connecting and aligning stakeholders across an organization
  • Ability to successfully function in a matrixed organization; ability to influence, coordinate and drive decisions to closure
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, thrive in a dynamic environment where requirements shift to meet changing business needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives and presentations in support of our business strategies
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver with a proven track record to see the "big picture" while being detail oriented
  • Strong program management skills with ability to coordinate across teams and accomplish key deliverables
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, self-starter able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree in Engineering
  • Product-led growth experience, leading product teams to partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to achieve integrated experiences
  • Expertise in SaaS, subscription, or businesses with direct customer engagement
  • Experience or solid understanding of one or more of our industries: AEC, M&E, Manufacturing, or Construction
  • Background in corporate strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or a related field

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $204,000 and $330,000. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
