Guild is looking for a Senior Director, Product Marketing to coordinate our B2B Product Marketing team. You will primarily be responsible for directing a team of product marketers to partner with sales to accelerate deals, product to run discovery & launch features, and marketing to generate pipeline.
You will partner closely with Sales, Employer Partner Services, Product Management, Consumer Product Marketing, Research & Analytics, as well as the broader Partner Experience team to ensure that our solutions deliver a compelling experience for our Partners and that our Solution is well-articulated to the market.
As a Senior Director of Product Marketing you will:
- Understand the learning and career mobility landscape. Be an authority on Guild’s solution, the market and how we message / position to our audiences
- Drive market intelligence. Be the guide on our competitors, the market, and how customers & prospects think about their investment in education, skilling, and career mobility
- Define positioning, messaging, and GTM: Shape how we go-to-market with messaging, content, and collateral that is clear, inspirational, and performant in helping guide buyers through their journey to achieve and unlock business outcomes
- Define buyer journey. Understand and detail our buyer’s journey, including where they access information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then evangelize and drive improvements across the journey to improve the experience and remove friction
- Communicate new capabilities. Develop an ongoing communication plan to enable both employers as well as internal collaborators (sales, employer partner services, marketing, product,) for net-new capabilities, offerings, and changes to the overall experience
- Be a transformative and strategic thought partner. Partner with product to craft our roadmap to tackle customer needs.
- Encouraging Leader. Act as a primary career mobility and learning leader with vision staying current on industry trends, partnering with content marketing to drive successful content initiatives
- Build for scale: As Guild grows, you will orchestrate process and program improvements that build leverage and efficiency
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- BA/BS degree
- 12+ years marketing management & leadership in a B2B and/or marketplace environment, 7+ years in product marketing experience with market-facing experience including customer research, product research, competitor analysis, and messaging
- Ability to handle programs & projects in a large, sophisticated organization
- An eye for creativity & the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and skills
- Excellent written/oral presentation and strong story-telling skills
- Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups.
- Excellent people and leadership skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $200,000-$240,000 as well as variable compensation (bonus) eligibility and company stock options.
