Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC) is a reinvention of the way Nike does business. The SEC team will drive end-to-end integration across hundreds of business processes, using a flexible and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and outstanding technology solutions that support the retail experience of the future.
As our Senior Director of SEC Data and Reporting, you will report to the VP of SEC Technology and will be responsible for product management of Master Data Management, Data Migrations, and Data Assurance solutions required by SEC. Additionally, you will also lead SEC's Center of Excellence for Reporting and Analytics.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Manage a team of SEC Capability Directors leading an organization of data product management (TPM) professionals, consisting of employees and contract staff
- Lead three SEC capability teams that design, deliver, and operate:
- Master Data Management solutions
- Data Migrations and Data Assurance solutions
- Reporting and Enterprise Data Access COE
- Partner closely with the leaders of multiple SEC and non-SEC functions to research, plan, design, test, deploy, and stabilize data & reporting capabilities required by each SEC release:
- SEC Functions and enabling teams
- SEC's Systems Integrator (Accenture)
- Non-SEC Technology aligned teams such as Enterprise Data & Analytics
- Non-SEC Analytics functions in the business such as Commercial Analytics
- Own and manage cohesive roadmaps of Data & Reporting products that are being delivered with each SEC release
- Demonstrate deep technology and product expertise in master-data integration patterns, data migration and assurance methodologies, and Data Warehousing platforms
- Identify, manage, mitigate, and communicate all risks and issues in Data & Reporting solutions delivery
- Refine and implement program methodology, including integration of waterfall and agile methodology as required to partner with non-SEC teams
- Develop and execute talent planning, development, and retention plans for the department
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field(s)or at least 10 years of related experience; advanced degree preferred or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- Prior experience in implementing and integrating large-scale Planning and ERP application suites
- Previous experience leading a direct team.
- Large scale ERP/Packaged Software design and integration experience
- Data and Analytics product management
- SAP Master Data Management and data acquisition - S4 MDG and Fashion preferred
- Data warehousing on modern cloud-based and legacy platforms: AWS/Snowflake/Teradata/Cognos
- Near real time and batch integration patterns
- Data migration and data quality planning and execution experience
- Waterfall and Scaled Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures to solve unique, large scale, cross functional data problems
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to build alignment and create trust among cross-cultural, multi-functional, and virtual teams
- Demonstrates enterprise approach with a specific focus on standardizing solutions and processes
- Highly organized; able to influence others to adapt, evolve and adhere to newly developed frameworks and structures
- Outstanding listening skills, excellent written skills and high-profile communication/storytelling skills.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, self-directed and comfortable working in fast paced high pressure roles
