Job Summary
Seeking candidates who reside in the Greater North East OH area!
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop, monitor and execute on the Cleveland Clinic's Strategic Framework (roadmap) and oversees the integration of Strategic Partnerships at an enterprise level. Partners with enterprise leaders to align and drive the organizational initiatives to achieve our strategic goals: Transform care, Engage Caregivers, Expand Reach, Embrace Digital and Optimize Resources. Leads complex cross enterprise teams to ensure the connectivity between interdependent work streams for both the Strategic Framework and Partnering & Integration to ensure execution.
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Participates in organization and formulation of the Cleveland Clinic Enterprise Strategy.
- Facilitates the development, monitoring and adjustment of the Enterprise Strategic Framework to determine and support the enterprise strategic goals (Transform care, Engage Caregivers, Expand Reach, Embrace Digital and Optimize Resources).
- Leads complex, cross-enterprise strategic initiatives planning efforts including prioritization, identifying dependencies, funding, project management, tracking and review.
- Partners with Senior Director of Strategic Planning to understand market insights to inform/update the strategic framework. Organizes and leads planning efforts in collaboration with Executive Administration regarding all Board, Executive and all other enterprise meetings related to the Strategy.
- Partners with Senior Director of Strategic Transactions and Business Development Leadership to identifying potential strategic partners, including assessment of organizational fit and congruence with Strategic Framework, building a strategy for partnership alignment.
- Partners/supports work on a wide variety of domestic and international strategic partnerships, through opportunity assessment, evaluation, transaction, integration, and monitoring.
- Oversees the development and implementation of large-scale network integration plans to successfully execute partnerships.
- Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance partnering and integration portfolio.
- Oversees the Strategic Framework and Partnering & Integration office, which includes - defining capability needs, overall structure of table of organization, recruitment, development and performance management. Day-to-day operations and budget management.
- Develops and maintains data, analytic tools and project management methodologies, collaborating with and leveraging resources of other related departments
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Master's degree or its equivalent in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field is required.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience, with majority of time in either healthcare (within organization or consulting) or technical role matching job required.
- Background in senior operations, senior expert or consultative role preferred.
- History of achievement and ability to influence change in large organizations required.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of either healthcare industry/provider operations, with deep enough expertise to conceptualize approaches and frame implications for CC.
- Very strong in majority if not all of these categories: Critical thinking/problem-solving skills: capable of leading broad set of executives through a complex problem-solving process; Analytical skills: needs to be able to structure and guide complex analytics to support project needs; Presentation skills: capable of developing and writing complex presentations for any audience using multiple formats; strong presenter/facilitator with senior executive presence; Client relationship skills: able to build peer-like relationships with senior executives and provide critical thought partnership on intellectual/organizational/political questions; Project management skills: capable of leading large enterprise teams of senior stakeholders efficiently through process to manage relationship work or complete projects; Team/office leadership: capable of inspiring teams of people to achieve results; accountability for Office culture.
Preferred Experience:
- Expert experience with Cleveland Clinic Connected, Cleveland Clinic's affiliation model
- Very strong knowledge with international and domestic business development, and with international health systems.
- Experience in advancing initiatives within Cleveland Clinic
