Job Summary
As a Senior Director, Strategic Pricing, you will be responsible for developing a global pricing strategy by analyzing and influencing major decisions around pricing and packaging across the globe. You will also work closely with senior executives across Sales, Finance, Product, and Technology to deliver profitable growth through pricing and maximize financial targets, with the ultimate goal of optimizing our revenue, profitability, and long-term enterprise value. This role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and communicate a strategic pricing plan to help the business deliver ambitious revenue goals, as well as continue to drive the utilization of Prove’s product offering. Assess various pricing models, including usage-based, location-based, and time-of-use-based pricing to optimize the strategy.
- Lead market research & analysis by developing hypotheses and frameworks to understand pricing dynamics and market outcomes to recommend pricing changes.
- Analyze and incorporate inputs from competitive pricing, and cost-based pricing to meet revenue goals, as well as customer willingness to pay.
- Influence a cross-functional team across product, data analytics, marketing and communications, and finance to implement the pricing strategy that maximizes revenue goals. Measure the impact of pricing changes on charger utilization.
- Contribute to the development of the overall market and product strategy and roadmap to facilitate the realization of company-wide revenue targets in alignment with internal stakeholders and in consideration of the dynamism of the market in which Prove operates.
- Drive deals from inception to completion cross-functionally with sales, partner management, finance and legal to ensure sales proposals adhere to established corporate strategies and policies, including but not limited to revenue recognition and pricing policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 6-8+ years experience working directly in pricing Â
- Experience in developing and executing a dynamic pricing strategy for a B2B high-growth business
- The analytical mindset in developing a/b experiments to test and scale in partnership with the data analytics team.
- A strong combination of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and creativity in incorporating the dynamic landscape of the digital identity industry.
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team and effectively develop relationships with internal partners and stakeholders to execute effectively.
- An entrepreneurial drive, strong financial acumen, creativity in problem-solving, and a willingness to wear many hats operating in a lean and fast-paced environment.
- A technical undergraduate degree, MBA, and experience in investment banking or management consulting is preferred.

- Experience in high-growth /pre-IPO Technology companies

The anticipated salary range for this role is $190,000 - $240,000, plus company bonus and stock options. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
