Senior Director, Strategic Program Operations (Remote)

Strategic Program Operations Sr. Director works closely with leadership across various functional teams to direct program operations for Good Neighbor Pharmacy and Elevate/Accelerate PSAOs. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing program operations, membership services and quality, and/or productivity projects. Sets the strategic direction for business operations, utilizing data-driven decision making to drive growth, program utilization, and workflow efficiency. Provides consulting expertise and recommendations to senior-level managers and executive team in support of achieving program objectives.
- Oversees overall program operations of Good Neighbor Pharmacy and Elevate/Accelerate PSAOs to ensure a streamlined, best-in-class customer experience through onboarding to membership to termination. This includes customer agreements, program enrollment and disenrollment, change of ownership/entity processing, annual member credentialing and attestations, call center operations, billing, and customer handoffs throughout the processes.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for process improvement, with an emphasis on automating program operations, minimizing resolution touchpoints, and enhancing overall customer experience. Utilizes structured, disciplined, and data-oriented process to identify root cause and solve problems.
- Serves as contract administrator for all programs, working directly with the legal department on the annual review of program agreements, term sheets, and other legal documents required to support our programs. Oversee ongoing management and compliance of contracts.
- Provides leadership in complying with and ensuring that the business unit's operations, policies, and practices conform to the privacy provisions of HIPAA, extended Data Protection Provisions, and other compliance policies.
- Works with internal and external partners to address and resolve escalated issues.
- Seeks and builds working relations with payers to resolve issues, advocate for members, and to negotiate compromises for difficult cases.
- Leads and supports internal and external stakeholders through program evolution, including appropriate communication plans for program growth and minimized service disruption.
- Maintains strong relationships and works closely with internal business partners to continuously evaluate program operations to identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, improve services levels, and advise when dependencies are not being met.
- Utilizes skills, knowledge, and experience in continuous improvement methodologies and tools to partner with business functions to identify areas of process improvement that will improve quality and drive positive impact to our customer experience and satisfaction. Proactively identifies potential risk(s) associated with initiatives/objectives; develops and implements strategies to mitigate identified risks; manages issue resolution process.
- Implements industry best practices and standards where applicable.

What your background should look like
Normally requires broad training in fields such as business administration, sales, marketing, organizational development, computer sciences, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program. Normally requires at least eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; previous experience in strategic proposal response development and customer implementation preferred.
- Dynamic leadership ability that can develop and energize multidisciplinary, culturally and geographically diverse high-performance work teams to learn and apply new skills and techniques to respond to business needs
- Proven experience leading others through the development of standardized processes and the development of end-to-end solutions
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to present information professionally and effectively to customers, associates, and management
- Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding across a wide set of stakeholders
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution business and Marketplace Solutions' programs. Experience with franchise, PSAO, and/or legal contracting highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to interpret customer servicing requirements to develop customer approach based on available solutions
- Excellent organizational skills high detail-orientation and strong interpersonal skills required to coordinate information among multiple internal groups
- Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation.
- Solid consultative skills and ability to effectively facilitate groups to resolution. Ability to create trust and confidence quickly.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly-complex environment
- Willingness to travel about 25%

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
