Senior Director Supply Chain

Quantum-Si is seeking a Senior Director, Supply Chain, who will be responsible for end-to-end planning, alignment, execution, and development of a solid, scalable, and high-performing global supply chain.  

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:  

• Lead and manage all aspects related to supply chain and management of materials, including implementing robust processes. 
• Establish roles and responsibilities for planning/scheduling, purchasing, and material master data management. 
• Responsible for determining needs and running metrics on inventory of finished goods, raw materials, and supplies. 
• Organizes and communicates shipping logistics to ensure timely deliveries. 
• Support lean activities in supply chain and materials management through behavior and action. 
• Oversee negotiation of contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs). 
• Operate the internal purchasing function, collaborating with finance for a streamlined process, with periodic vendor reviews and negotiations. 
• Work with Quality and Engineering teams to develop and implement a proactive supply chain risk management program to manage current suppliers. 
• Ensures full implementation and efficient use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the areas of forecasting, material requirements and production planning and inventory control. 
• Establishes, tracks and reports on key metrics related to Supply Chain. 
• Performs other tasks and duties as required.  

Qualifications 

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes: 

• A Bachelor’s degree is required relating to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing  
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and purchasing 
• Experience leading lean supply chain management within a manufacturing or biotech environment 
• Advanced knowledge of material flow, SKUs, planning and scheduling 
• Ability to manage multiple product streams (instruments, reagents, semiconductor devices) 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to relationship building 
• Proven ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization to solve problems and meet deadlines aligned with company goals 
• Demonstrated ability to create, cultivate and implement change 
• Extensive Supply or Demand Planning experience 
• Prior implementation of efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods globally. 
• Proficiency in automated systems of production planning, purchasing, and logistics as well as operational execution.

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $190,000 - $250,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position,  an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
