Who are we looking for
We are looking for a Senior Director of Strategy to partner with Nike's Global Technology team. You will use your technology subject matter expertise in combination with your deep strategic eye for business as you work with executive leaders across Global Operations and Technology (GOT). Together, you will identify and shape strategic priorities around Nike's technology transformation that enable and drive the enterprise growth agenda.
What will you work on
As Senior Director, GOT Strategy - Technology you will:
  • Identify and drive Technology strategic projects rooted in complex business problems to drive future growth
  • Optimize and drive the annual strategic planning process for Technology including the development of short, mid, and long-term functional strategies and identity investment and resources required to land the plan
  • Drive the quarterly business reporting processes for Technology in conjunction with other strategy functional leaders
  • Integrate Technology into cross-functional strategies across the enterprise
  • Support the Technology Leadership Team, operating model, and ways of working
  • Lead a team of strategists to deliver strategic work
Who will you work with
The Senior Director reports to the Vice President, GOT Strategy, and will be part of the leadership team of Nike's Chief Digital Information Officer. This role will partner closely with other functions within the GOT function and the GOT strategy team, including Demand and Supply Management, Product Supply Chain, and Marketplace Supply Chain. This role requires a high level of collaboration with other strategic leaders across the company to drive a comprehensive enterprise strategy, including teammates within Consumer Creation, Consumer & Marketplace, Global Business Planning, and Finance. Developing senior level advisory relationships and content-based thought partnership in a highly matrixed and cross-functional environment will be critical to success.

What you bring to Nike
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA / Master's (3 years post MBA preferred with 10+ years of proven experience in total); or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • 10+ years of proven experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, business development, investment banking or a related field.
  • Subject matter expertise in relevant technology fields such as enterprise architecture and platforms, application development, data and analytics, technical infrastructure, digital transformation, or related fields
  • Experience in leading sophisticated strategic projects and shown success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, then proposing and acting on a course of action
  • Experience supporting, influencing, and speaking publicly to senior executive leaders to catalyze change
  • Consistent track record of pulling together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitating productive discussions.
  • Proficiency in business communication tools and verbal/written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling
