Job Summary: The Leader of Privacy Risk Management will be responsible for overseeing the privacy risk management program for the US Consumer Data Team. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and to mitigate privacy risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a privacy risk management program for the US Consumer Data focused on transforming Lilly approach as privacy continues to change and we enhance our capabilities.
  • Monitor and assess privacy risks and develop requirements to ensure compliance with privacy regulations across adtech/martech ecosystem
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement privacy controls across operations/execution approaches
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on privacy risk management
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in privacy regulations and industry best practices including all state & federal changes, Industry standards including examples like IAB
  • Work with LLY global privacy personal to ensure balanced assessment of risk/benefit of all recommended changes as legislation continues to evolve.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in privacy risk management
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Additional Skills / Preferences:

  • In-depth knowledge of privacy regulations and industry best practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Certification in privacy such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PDPA, or equivalent.
  • They should also have experience in conducting data privacy assessments, audits, and risk analyses, and developing and implementing data privacy policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for privacy and data protection.
