The Marketing team at Yext is looking for a Senior Director, Website to lead the strategy for the Yext corporate website and other external-facing web properties! You will build an efficient, compelling, and audience-first experience. You will ensure that Yext websites are the best showcase for Yext solutions by developing and utilizing all websites using Yext technology wherever possible. You will use your takeaways to provide feedback to the product and engineering teams and influence the Yext roadmap to better support our customers. You will collaborate with the Demand Generation team to ensure our overall Search strategy is designed to increase traffic and heighten visibility on search engines aiming to our website. You will use data, personalization strategies, and analytic tools to help increase demand, while strengthening the positioning of our brand. This global role will manage a team of front and backend developers, UX/Web design, Web optimization/analytics, and website program managers to create a cohesive and connected experience, tailored to targeted visitor profiles!
This role requires critical thinking, strong relationship-building skills, deep understanding of Yext products, and a technical acumen. Strong communication skills, executive presence and cross-functional collaboration skills is a requirement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a strategy for a re-designed Yext website that combines disparate websites into one
- Improve long-term Web strategy and roadmap, maturing modern marketing approaches balancing data, technology, design, brand, demand gen and customer needs.
- Collaborate with teams to implement web initiatives that support run of business (events, PR, campaigns, portfolio marketing, creative, HR, etc.) with an eye towards performance and conversion.
- Develop our corporate website with immersive user experience techniques that continue to shift it from product-centric to audience/customer needs-centric.
- Design and implement an iterative learning agenda with A/B test-and-learn experiments for conversion optimization.
- Increase high-quality traffic with complementary SEM, SEO, and re-targeting strategies.
- Modernize CX with adaptive content, oriented towards buying personas and buying stages, alongside a mobile-first experience.
- Tune web technology stack to allow orchestrated and real-time predictive delivery of next best action/offers.
- Monitor website analytics and use patterns to refine user experience and improve conversions.
- Employ outside-in perspective with regular user testing / UI research to inform design solutions and iterative optimization.
- Manage requirements and technical resources, using agile methodologies and delivering solutions.
- Develop requirements vital to work with technical resources on scope to create solutions (MVP, trade-offs, short- and long-term).
- Institute and ensure governance, quality assurance, and consistency of customer experience.
- Partner with Product Marketing and the Content Team to ensure upkeep and freshness of website content, and assets are merchandised across the site.
- Ensure Service level agreements are met for uptime, publishing, management of all technology requirements including maintenance needs of web systems and technology partner integrations used to create and capture demand for the business
What You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 15+ years of experience developing innovative website experiences and implementing search strategies in the B2B, large enterprise software industry and SaaS
- Expertise in messaging and positioning strategy
- Ability to think strategically and execute exceptionally
- Values accuracy, thoroughness, and high-quality outputs
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and work in a fast-paced, changing environment, maintaining a strong sense of urgency coupled with demonstrated success in management of multiple priorities
- Very strong communication skills and the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders, including staff, executives, external partners, and others
- Expert at core performance marketing platforms and other marketing analytics tools, including Google Search Console, Adwords, Google Analytics, SEMRush, SEO tools etc.
- Passion for learning new approaches and a desire to deliver an outstanding website using groundbreaking technologies
- Great people leader and communicator:Inspires team to have the best web site in the industry
- Sets a long-term vision combined with stellar execution
- Articulates findings to executives and comfortable building effective business reviews that story tell with data
- Have strong engaged manager with people management skills, including the ability to set expectations for direct reports, evaluate performance and make recommendations to aid their career growth
- Demonstrated expertise in providing design excellence and user-centered experiences.
- Metrics-driven approach to continuous improvement; strong analytical skills with the ability to identify insights that are put into action.
- Demonstrated expertise of technical SEO fundamentals and how they interplay with website technology, architecture, and content to deliver outstanding organic search performance.
- Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills — scoping work, driving execution, and delivering on deadlines while working with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and experience delivering the highest quality and error-free websites
- Ability to travel as needed to support the business

The base salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be between $171,900 - $287,000. Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
