Senior Drupal Developer (Remote)

It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer who will be a key driver to make this happen.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drupal Developer/Themer to join our team, with a specific emphasis on working on the admin theme. The project is implemented using an Agile, Scrum-based process that includes Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Our team uses human-centered design (HCD) approaches, as led by a talented Visual UX/UI Designer, to implement highly modern and intuitively usable interfaces. The site provides rich functionality for users to interactively analyze valuable datasets such as COVID data, QPP provider data, and healthcare metrics in real-time, supporting upwards of hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. All the datasets are API-enabled and support integration with external websites and applications.
As a Drupal Developer/Themer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing visually appealing and functional themes for our Drupal-based application, with a focus on creating a seamless user experience.
Our core work hours are 10am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive and highly interactive Drupal themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Drupal theming best practices.
- Customize and modify existing Drupal themes while maintaining cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure the themes support the overall website goals, while enhancing the user experience.
- Maintain unit-test code coverage using automated testing frameworks, such as PHPUnit, Codeception
- Continuous Integration with Jenkins and Continuous Deployment
- Work with and coordinate with other developers using digital tools such as Slack, Confluence, and Jira
- Work with version control tools, such as Git
- Develop using Linux
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years' experience of PHP and/or Drupal 8
- 2+ years experience with traditional RDBMS databases, such as MySQL/SQLite or PostgreSQL
- 2+ years experience with Git
- 2+ years hands on Linux, or equivalent CLI on Mac
- Candidates must reside in the United States for a minimum of 3 full years out of the last 5, have the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, and the work must be performed in the US
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Drupal Themer or Front-end Developer, with a portfolio showcasing your Drupal theming skills
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for Drupal theming
- Computer Science degree
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with DKAN
- Working experience with Docker
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Experience with Federal Government contracting
Professional Skills:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated time management skills

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$82,673.00 - $140,544.00
